Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- 超薄板ガラスと前記超薄板ガラスを支持するキャリアガラスとを、相転移物質を介して接合する接合ステップと、
前記超薄板ガラスの表面に対して表面処理を施す表面処理ステップと、及び
前記キャリアガラスから前記超薄板ガラスを分離する分離ステップと、
を含むことを特徴とするディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。 - 前記相転移物質は電気伝導性を有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
- 前記相転移物質としては、ドーパントがドープされたITOを用いることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
- 前記ドーパントは、Ga、Zn、Ce、Mg、Zr、及びNbを含む物質群から選ばれたいずれか一種または二種以上の組み合わせであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
- 前記相転移物質としては、Ga2O3が0.5〜7wt%ドープされたITOを用いることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
- 前記相転移物質としては、Ga2O3が2.9wt%ドープされたITOを用いることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
- 前記超薄板ガラスと前記キャリアガラスとの間に前記相転移物質を100nm以下の厚さで形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
- 前記超薄板ガラスと前記キャリアガラスとの間に前記相転移物質を30〜50nmの厚さで形成することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
- 前記接合ステップでは、前記相転移物質を前記キャリアガラスの接合面にコートすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
- 前記分離ステップでは、前記キャリアガラスに接合されている前記相転移物質の一方の面と前記超薄板ガラスに接合されている前記相転移物質の他方の面とのうちの、表面粗さが相対的に大きい前記相転移物質の他方の面から前記超薄板ガラスを分離することを特徴とする請求項9に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
- 前記接合ステップでは、前記相転移物質を前記超薄板ガラスの接合面にコートすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
- 前記分離ステップでは、前記キャリアガラスに接合されている前記相転移物質の一方の面と前記超薄板ガラスに接合されている前記相転移物質の他方の面とのうちの、表面粗さが相対的に大きい前記相転移物質の一方の面から前記キャリアガラスを分離することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
- 前記表面処理ステップは、前記相転移物質の相転移温度以上の温度で熱処理する工程を伴うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
- 前記超薄板ガラスとしては、厚さ0.3mm以下のガラスを使用することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイパネル用超薄板ガラスのハンドリング方法。
