すなわち、
・皮膚面や頭髪の洗浄作用を持つ活性成分としては、これらの成分は油、石鹸、合成洗浄剤と固形物などの皮膚を洗浄するために用いられる全ての物質を含む:
・脱臭及び発汗抑制作用を持つ活性成分としては、これらの成分はアルミニウム塩や亜鉛塩に基づく抗発汗剤、トリクロサン、ヘキサクロロフェン、アルコール、例えば第四級アンモニウム塩といった陽イオン性物質などを含む防臭剤、及び例えばグリロシン(登録商標)(亜鉛リシノレートや種々の添加剤の組み合わせ)または、クエン酸トリエチル(例えば、ブチルヒドロキシトルエンなどの抗酸化剤と任意に組み合わせてもよい)または、イオン交換樹脂などの臭気吸収体を含む:
・太陽光からの保護を提供する活性成分(UVフィルタ)としては、適切な活性成分は太陽光からUV放射を吸収できそれを熱に転換できるフィルタ物質(日焼け止め)である、また望まれる作用によるが、以下の光線保護剤が好ましい、すなわち、約280〜315ナノメータの範囲の日焼けを起こす高エネルギーUV放射を選択的に吸収し(UV−B吸収体)また、例えば315〜400ナノメータの範囲(UV−A範囲)のより長い波長は透過する光線保護剤と同様に315〜400ナノメータのUV−A範囲のより長い波長の放射のみを吸収する(UV−A吸収体)光線保護剤である:

・害虫に対する活性成分(忌避剤)は害虫が皮膚に触りそこで活発になることを防止する意図の作用剤であり、それらはゆっくり蒸発し害虫を遠ざけるが、最も頻繁に用いられる忌避剤はジエチルトルアミド(DEET)であり、最も一般的な忌避剤は、例えば、”Pflegekosmetik”(W.RaabとU.Kindle,Gustav−Fischer−Verlag Stuttgart/New York, 1991)ページ161に記載がある:
・化学的、物理的影響に対する防御用の活性成分としては、それらは、例えば、有機溶媒の影響に対して保護するためのアルギン酸ナトリウム、アルギン酸トリエタノールアミン、ポリアクリレート、ポリビニルアルコールまたはセルロースエステルや皮膚にかかる厳しい物理的ストレスから保護するための”潤滑剤”としての鉱油、植物油やシリコンオイルに基づく物質といった皮膚と外界の有害物質間でバリアーを形成する全ての物質を含んでいる:
・保湿物質としては、例えば、下記の物質は水分調整剤(保湿剤)として用いられる、すなわち乳酸ナトリウム、尿素、アルコール、ソルビトール、グリセロール、プロピレングリコール、コラーゲン、エラスチン及びヒアルロン酸:
・角膜形成効果がある活性成分としては、過酸化ベンゾイル、レチノール酸、コロイド状硫黄及びレゾルシノール;
・抗菌剤としては、例えばトリクロサンや第四級アンモニウム化合物:
・皮膚に塗布できる油性または油溶性ビタミンやビタミン誘導体としては、例えば、ビタミンA(遊離酸状のレチノールやその誘導体)、パンテノール、パントテン酸、葉酸及びそれらの組み合わせ、ビタミンE(トコフェロール)、ビタミンF、必須脂肪酸、またはナイアシンアミド(ニコチン酸アミド):
・ビタミンに基づくプラセンタ抽出物としては、活性成分組成物は特にビタミンA、C、E、B1、B2、B6、B12、葉酸及び及びビオチン、アミノ酸、酵素、同様にマグネシウム、ケイ素、リン、カルシウム、マンガン、鉄や銅などの微量元素の化合物を含んでいる:
・皮膚補修複合体としては、不活性化され分解されたビフィダス群の細菌の培養液から得られる:
・植物や植物抽出物としては、例えば、アルニカ、アロエ、地衣類、キズタ、イラクサ、チョウセンニンジン、ヘンナ、カモミール、マリーゴールド、ローズマリー、セージ、トクサやタイム:
・動物抽出物としては、例えば、ローヤルゼリー、プロポリス、タンパク質や胸腺抽出物:
・皮膚に塗布できる化粧用油としては、ミグリオール812タイプの中性油、杏仁油、アボガド油、ババス油、綿実油、ボラージオイル、アザミ油、落花生油、ガンマーオリザノール、ローズヒップシードオイル、大麻油、ヘーゼルナッツオイル、カシスオイル、ホホバオイル、サクランボオイル、サーモンオイル、亜麻仁油、トウモロコシ油、マカダミアナッツオイル、アーモンドオイル、月見草油、ミンク油、オリーブオイル、ペカンナッツオイル、桃仁油、ピスタチオナッツオイル、菜種油、種もみ油、ひまし油、紅花油、ごま油、大豆油、ひまわり油、チャノキ油、ブドウ種子油や小麦胚芽油がある。
215gのパーライト(平均粒度30ミクロン)を1785mLの蒸留水に含むスラリーを83℃に加熱し、pHは塩酸で1.4に調節した。pHを保つための水酸化ナトリウムと共に20%の四塩化錫の溶液50gを3.2g/分の割合でその後加えた。60分間の攪拌の後、pHを保つための水酸化ナトリウムと共に40%の四塩化チタンの溶液36gを3g/分の割合で加えた。続いて、水酸化ナトリウムを用いてpHを3.0に上げ、その後pHを保つための水酸化ナトリウムと共に39%の塩化第二鉄の溶液を1.2g/分の割合で加えた。320gの塩化第二鉄を加えたのち、得られたスラリーは濾過され、洗浄され、850℃で焼成された。得られた製品は図1に示すように青銅色であった。
本実施例は335gの塩化第二鉄を加えた以外は実施例1と同様に行われた。得られた製品は図2に示すように銅干渉色をしていた。
本実施例は360gの塩化第二鉄を加えた以外は実施例1と同様に行われた。得られた製品は図3に示すように朽ち葉色干渉色をしていた。
125gのパーライト(平均粒度30ミクロン)を2606mLの蒸留水に含むスラリーを80℃に加熱し、pHは塩酸で3.0に調節した。pHを保つための水酸化ナトリウムと共に39%の塩化第二鉄の溶液206gを1.6mL/分の割合で加えた。得られたスラリーは濾過され、洗浄され、650℃で焼成された。得られた製品は青銅色をしていたが酸化第二鉄は殆どがパーライト上のコーティングというよりはむしろパーライト薄片の隣に析出していた。図4でそれを示している
本比較例は39%の塩化第二鉄を240g加えた以外は比較例4と同様に行われた。得られた製品は朽ち葉色をしていたが酸化第二鉄は殆どがパーライト上のコーティングというよりはむしろパーライト薄片の隣に析出していた。図5でそれを示している。
183gのパーライト(平均粒度30ミクロン)を1817mLの蒸留水に含むスラリーを74℃に加熱し、pHは塩酸で1.5に調節した。pHを保つための水酸化ナトリウムと共に20%の四塩化錫の溶液51gを0.8g/分の割合でその後加えた。30分間の攪拌の後、水酸化ナトリウムを用いてpHを3.2に上げ、その後pHを保つための水酸化ナトリウムと共に39%の塩化第二鉄を0.56g/分の割合で加えた。466gの塩化第二鉄を加えたのち、得られたスラリーは濾過され、洗浄され、850℃で焼成された。得られた製品は朽ち葉色であった。修飾塗料に調製された時、多くの酸化第二鉄は割れてパーライト表面から剥がれおちた。図6でそれを示している。
125gのパーライト(平均粒度30ミクロン)を1250mLの蒸留水に含むスラリーを80℃に加熱し、pHは塩酸で1.4に調節した。pHを保つための水酸化ナトリウムと共に20%の四塩化錫の溶液58.75gを1.77mL/分の割合でその後加えた。30分間の攪拌の後、pHを保つための水酸化ナトリウムと共に40%の四塩化チタンの溶液209gを1.6mL/分の割合で加えた。続いて、水酸化ナトリウムを用いてpHを3.2に上げ、その後pHを保つための水酸化ナトリウムと共に39%の塩化第二鉄の溶液10gを1.0g/分の割合で加えた。少量のスラリーが濾過され、洗浄され、850℃で焼成された。10gの添加とサンプリングが更に7回繰り返された。淡い砂色から金色のオレンジ色までに連なる一連の製品が得られた。
180gのパーライト(平均粒度30ミクロン)を1820mLの蒸留水に含むスラリーを80℃に加熱し、pHは塩酸で1.4に調節した。pHを保つための水酸化ナトリウムと共に20%の四塩化錫の溶液40gを2.57ml/分の割合でその後加えた。30分間の攪拌の後、pHを保つための水酸化ナトリウムと共に40%の四塩化チタンの溶液300gを2.44mL/分の割合で加えた。続いて、水酸化ナトリウムを用いてpHを3.2に上げ、その後pHを保つための水酸化ナトリウムと共に39%の塩化第二鉄の溶液55gを1.28mL/分の割合で加えた。スラリーは濾過され、洗浄され、850℃で焼成された。得られた製品は図7に示すように黄金色であった。

Claims (27)
- (i)パーライト薄片を準備し、
(ii)前記パーライト薄片上に酸化錫の層を塗布し、酸化錫で被覆されたパーライト薄片を得、
(iii)(ii)の工程で得られた酸化錫で被覆されたパーライト薄片上に二酸化チタンの層を塗布し二酸化チタンと酸化錫で被覆されたパーライト薄片を得て次に、
(iv)酸化鉄の層を前記二酸化チタンと酸化錫で被覆されたパーライト薄片上に塗布して被覆パーライト薄片を得る、被覆されたパーライト薄片の作製方法。 - 工程(i)は平均粒子径D50が約1ミクロン〜約1000ミクロンの範囲のパーライト薄片を選択することを含んでいる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(ii)において、塗布される酸化錫の分量が、被覆されたパーライト薄片の全重量を基にして約0.5重量%〜約5重量%である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(iii)において、塗布される二酸化チタンの分量が、被覆されたパーライト薄片の全重量を基にして約0.5重量%〜約50重量%である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(iv)において、塗布される酸化鉄の分量が被覆されたパーライト薄片の全重量を基にして約0.5重量%〜約50重量%である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(ii)において、塗布される酸化錫層の厚みが約1ナノメータ〜約10ナノメータである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(iii)において、塗布される二酸化チタン層の厚みが約1ナノメータ〜約150ナノメータである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(iv)において、塗布される酸化鉄層の厚みが約1ナノメータ〜約150ナノメータである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法から得られた被覆されたパーライト薄片。
- 請求項9に記載の被覆されたパーライト薄片を含む組成物。
- (i)塗料、(ii)インクジェット印刷、(iii)織物染め用、(iv)コーティングの着色用、(v)印刷インク、(vi)プラスチック、(vii)化粧品、または(viii)セラミックや(viii)ガラスの釉薬における、請求項9に記載の前記被覆されたパーライト薄片の使用方法。
- 請求項9に記載の被覆されたパーライト薄片で着色された塗料、印刷インク、プラスチック、化粧品、セラミック、及びガラス。
- 酸化錫の層、続いて二酸化チタンの層、更に続いて酸化鉄の層を持つパーライト薄片を含む被覆されたパーライト薄片。
- 前記パーライト薄片が平均粒子径D50を約1ミクロン〜約1000ミクロンの範囲で持っている請求項13に記載の被覆された前記パーライト薄片。
- 前記パーライト薄片上の酸化錫の分量が、約0.5重量%〜約5重量%である請求項13に記載の被覆されたパーライト薄片。
- 前記パーライト薄片上の二酸化チタンの分量が、前記被覆されたパーライト薄片の全重量を基にして約0.5重量%〜約50重量%である請求項13に記載の被覆されたパーライト薄片。
- 前記パーライト薄片上の酸化鉄の分量が、前記被覆されたパーライト薄片の全重量を基にして約0.5重量%〜約50重量%である請求項13に記載の前記被覆されたパーライト薄片。
- 酸化錫層の厚みが約1ナノメータ〜約10ナノメータである請求項13に記載の前記被覆されたパーライト薄片。
- 二酸化チタン層の厚みが約1ナノメータ〜約150ナノメータである請求項13に記載の前記被覆されたパーライト薄片。
- 酸化鉄層の厚みが約1ナノメータ〜約150ナノメータである請求項13に記載の前記被覆されたパーライト薄片。
- BYK−macで測定したときに少なくとも約3.9のきらめき度(S_G)を持つ請求項13に記載の前記被覆されたパーライト薄片。
- BYK−macで測定したときに約3.9〜約7のきらめき度(S_G)を持つ請求項21に記載の前記被覆されたパーライト薄片。
- 請求項13に記載の前記被覆されたパーライト薄片を含む組成物。
- (i)水と10〜50ミクロンの範囲内のD50を持つパーライト薄片のスラリーを調製し、
(ii)(i)の工程で得られたスラリーを約70℃から約100℃の温度にまで熱しかつスラリーのpHを約1と3の間に調整し、
(iii)(ii)の工程の後、pHを約1から4の間に保ちながら錫塩の溶液を該スラリーに加え、
(iv)(iii)の工程の後、該スラリーを少なくとも30分間攪拌し、
(v)(iv)の工程の後、pHを約1から4の間に保ちながらチタン塩溶液を該スラリーに加え、
(vi)(v)の工程の後、pHを約1から4の間に保ちながら鉄塩の溶液を該スラリーに加え、
(vii)(vi)の工程の後、該スラリーを濾過し、続いて洗浄し、更に約500℃から約1000℃で焼成して被覆パーライト薄片を得る、被覆されたパーライト薄片の作製方法。 - 請求項24に記載の方法から得られた前記被覆されたパーライト薄片。
- 請求項25に記載の被覆されたパーライト薄片を含む組成物。
- (i)塗料組成物、(ii)インクジェット印刷組成物、(iii)織物染め組成物、(iv)コーティング組成物、(v)印刷インク組成物、(vi)プラスチック組成物、(vii)化粧用組成物、または(viii)セラミックやガラスの釉薬組成物である請求項26に記載の前記組成物。
