Abstract
Description
二つ以上の電池セルが互いに電気的に連結された状態でセルカバーに装着され、電池セルの電極端子連結部が垂直に折り曲げられた状態でセルカバーの外部に突出している単位モジュールが二つ以上積層されている単位モジュール積層体;
前記単位モジュール積層体の単位モジュールが互いに直列連結のための配列に装着され、単位モジュールの電極端子部位を開放しているモジュールケース;
前記モジュールケースにおいて単位モジュールの電極端子部位に装着され、単位モジュールの直列連結のための一つ以上のバスバーが外部での熔接ができるように露出された状態で装着されているバスバーアセンブリー;及び
前記バスバーアセンブリーを包む電気絶縁性のカバー;
を含む構造に構成されている。

Claims (22)
- 二つ以上の電池セルが互いに電気的に連結された状態でセルカバーに装着され、電池セルの電極端子連結部が垂直に折り曲げられた状態でセルカバーの外部に突出している単位モジュールが二つ以上積層されている単位モジュール積層体;
前記単位モジュール積層体の単位モジュールが互いに直列連結のための配列に装着されており、単位モジュールの電極端子部位を開放しているモジュールケース;
前記モジュールケースにおいて単位モジュールの電極端子部位に装着され、単位モジュールの直列連結のための一つ以上のバスバーが外部での熔接ができるように露出された状態で装着されているバスバーアセンブリー;及び
前記バスバーアセンブリーを包む電気絶縁性のカバー;
を含むことを特徴とする、電池モジュール。 - 前記電池セルは互いに並列に連結されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルは板状型電池セルであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルはラミネート電池ケースに電極組立体が内蔵された構造であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記単位モジュールの電池セルは電極端子が直接結合された状態で並列に連結されており、電極端子連結部はバスバーアセンブリーのバスバーに接触する熔接面を提供するように垂直に折り曲げられていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルは陽極端子と陰極端子とが一側端部に一緒に形成された構造になっており、前記単位モジュールは互いに隣接した単位モジュールの間で陽極端子と陰極端子とが隣接するように交互に配列された状態で積層されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記モジュールケースは単位モジュール積層体の外周面を包むフレーム構造であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記モジュールケースの外面には、デバイスまたはパックケースに電池モジュールを装着するための一つ以上の結合部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記結合部は上下方向にモジュールケースの外面から突出し、その上下中心軸に沿って湾入型溝が形成された構造であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記バスバーアセンブリーは、モジュールケースに装着され、電気絶縁性を持つ長方形のアセンブリー本体;及び前記長方形の本体に前面と後面が開放された状態で装着されている一つ以上のバスバー;を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記バスバーアセンブリーは多数のバスバーを含み、前記バスバーは両側端部がアセンブリー本体に結合される金属板材であることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記バスバーの一側端部には電圧検出のための検出用端子が備えられていることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記バスバーの中で外部入出力端子をなすバスバーは、一側端部が伸びた状態でアセンブリー本体上に結合されている外部入出力端子部を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記外部入出力端子部はボルトによってアセンブリー本体上に結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記ボルトはモジュールケースにも結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電極端子連結部に対するバスバーの電気的連結は、バスバーの外面に対して熔接を行うことでなされることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記熔接は、バスバーの外面にレーザーを照射することでなされることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記バスバーアセンブリーの両側端部に締結具が突設され、前記モジュールケースには前記締結具に対応する締結溝が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記カバーの両側端部に締結具が突設され、前記バスバーアセンブリーには前記締結具に対応する締結溝が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 請求項1〜19のいずれか一項の電池モジュールが二つ以上パックケースに装着されていることを特徴とする、電池パック。
- 請求項1の電池モジュールまたは請求項10の電池パックを電源として使うことを特徴とする、デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグインハイブリッド電気自動車、または電力貯蔵装置であることを特徴とする、請求項21に記載のデバイス。
