Claims (16)
- 板状の二次電池であって、
金属層と、樹脂層とを備えたラミネートシートによる電池ケースの内部に電極組立体が内蔵されてなり、
前記電池ケースとしての外装部材の外側部に、それぞれ独立した締付式フレーム部材である上端フレーム部材と、下端フレーム部材と、及び両側面フレーム部材とが装着されてなり、
前記上端フレーム部材と前記両側面フレーム部材の締付が、前記フレーム部材の対応部位に締付溝が形成されており、前記締付溝に薄板状シール部が挿入され結合されることでなされるものであり、及び、
前記上端フレーム部材及び/又は前記下端フレーム部材が、前記両側面フレーム部材とともに締め付けられるように、前記両側面フレーム部材の断面形状に対応する締付溝が前記上端フレーム部材及び/又は前記下端フレーム部材の接触部位に形成されてなるものである、二次電池。 - 前記上端フレーム部材と前記下端フレーム部材が、互いに高さが同一であり、
前記高さが、前記両側面フレーム部材よりも大きいものである、請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記両側面フレーム部材が、その上面および/または下面が外側に向けてテーパされてなるものである、請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電池ケースのシール部に締め付けられるフレーム部材が、少なくともシール部と接する部分が弾性素材からなるものである、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記両側面フレーム部材が、高い機械的合成の芯材と、その外面を取り囲む弾性素材とを備えてなるものである、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電池ケースに接するフレーム部材の該当部位には、シール補助剤が付加される湾入部が形成されており、
前記電池ケースに前記フレーム部材を締め付けるときに、前記湾入部にシール補助剤を付加し、前記電池ケースと前記フレーム部材とを確実に締め付けるものである、請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記シール補助剤が、シリコンであるものである、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記上端フレーム部材および/または前記下端フレーム部材が、それらの上面及び下面に、結合用突起及び該結合用突起と対応する溝とが形成されてなり、
複数の電池を積み重ねるときに、前記結合用突起が該結合用突起と対応する溝が噛み合わさって、前記複数の電池が定位置に安定的に積層されてなる、請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記上端フレーム部材が、電極端子が挿入可能な水平溝が、その側面における中央に形成されてなり、
前記上端フレーム部材が、前記電極端子と接続可能な垂直溝が、その中央に形成されてなり、
バスバーが前記水平溝から導入される電極端子と接続され、前記バスバーが前記垂直溝を通じて前記上端フレーム部材に装着されてなる、請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記バスバーが「フ」字状に折り曲げられて、前記バスバーの前記垂直面が前記垂直溝に挿入され、かつ、前記バスバーの前記水平面が前記電極端子と接続されてなるものであり、或いは、
平面バスバーを前記垂直溝に挿入した後に、前記バスバーが「フ」字状に折り曲げられて、その後に、前記バスバーの前記水平面が前記電極端子と接続されてなるものである、請求項9に記載の二次電池。 - 前記上端フレーム部材が、前記電極端子とバスバーの接続部位が露出する開口が形成され、前記電極端子と前記バスバーの溶接が容易に行われものである、請求項9に記載の二次電池。
- 対応する前記電極端子に接続されてなる前記バスバーが、反対方向に前記上端フレーム部材における前記垂直溝に挿着されてなり、
前記電極端子(A)に接続されてなるバスバー(a)が、前記上端フレーム部材における前記上面に露出されてなり、かつ、
前記電極端子(B)に接続されてなるバスバー(b)が、前記上端フレーム部材における前記下面に露出されてなるものである、請求項9に記載の二次電池。 - 各バスバーが、その各々の一側面に電圧検出接続用突起が形成されてなり、
前記上端フレーム部材が、その側面に側面溝が形成されてなり、前記電圧検出接続用の突起が前記側面溝を通じて露出してなり、前記各バスバーが前記上端フレーム部材に装着されてなり、及び
前記側面溝から露出されてなる前記電極端子の端部が切り取られてなるものである、請求項9に記載の二次電池。 - 各バスバーが、その各々の一側面に側面延長が形成されてなり、それによって、
積層された前記二次電池がお互いに電気的に接続されたときに、相互に接続されてなる、前記バスバーの抵抗溶接を容易にし、並びに、
前記上端フレーム部材が、前記側面延長に対応するその外面に他の側面溝が形成され、溶接チップが接近可能なものである、請求項9に記載の二次電池。 - 単位電池として、請求項1、3〜7及び9〜14のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池を備えてなる、中大型電池モジュール。
- 前記中大型電池モジュールが、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、電気オートバイ、または電気自転車の動力源として用いられるものである、請求項15に記載の中大型電池モジュール。
