Description
Claims (19)
- 電池モジュールに装着された状態で、電極端子が上端又は下端のいずれか一側に共に形成されている電池セルの電圧をセンシングするための部材であって、
(a)電気絶縁性の素材からなり、電池セルの電極端子連結部同士間の空間に水平方向に、電池モジュールの前面又は後面上に装着されるブロックケースと、
(b)前記ブロックケースが装着された前記電池モジュールの前面又は後面に設けられたバスバーと、前記バスバーが設けられた前記前面又は後面の中央部位において、前記電池セルの電極端子連結部と電気的に接続されている前記バスバーの上端部又は下端部に一体型に形成されている電圧センシング用端子にそれぞれ接続されるワイヤーと、
(c)前記ワイヤーの検出電圧を制御部に送るコネクターと、
を備えており、
前記ブロックケースは、ワイヤーを安定して固定するために、前面方向に突出した締め付け具を備えており、
前記ワイヤーがブロックケースの締め付け具に装着された状態でバスバーの電圧センシング用端子に接続され、
前記バスバーは、電池セルの電極端子連結部と電気的に接続されるように両側端部が垂直に折れ曲がっている板状本体、及び前記板状本体の上端部又は下端部に形成されている電圧センシング用端子を備えており、
前記電池モジュールの前記前面又は後面に設けられた前記バスバーのうち、正極又は負極用外部入出力端子に連結されるバスバーは、前記板状本体の下端部一側面から前記正極又は負極用外部入出力端子方向に延びている外部入出力端子接続部をさらに備えることを特徴とする、
電圧センシングアセンブリー。
- 前記ブロックケースの上端部と下端部には、バスバーの電圧センシング用端子が挿入されるように、電圧センシング用端子に対応する位置に開口がそれぞれ形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電圧センシングアセンブリー。
- 前記電圧センシング用端子は、ワイヤーが挿入されて挟まれるクランピング(clamping)構造になっていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電圧センシングアセンブリー。
- 前記ワイヤーは、外部との絶縁のために、絶縁テープで包まれているか、又は、絶縁性の管状部材に内蔵されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電圧センシングアセンブリー。
- 前記締め付け具は、はさみ状になっていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電圧センシングアセンブリー。
- 前記外部入出力端子接続部には、外部入出力端子と結合される締め付け用孔が穿設されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電圧センシングアセンブリー。
- 前記バスバーのうち、正極又は負極用外部入出力端子に連結されるバスバーの電圧センシング用端子は、前記垂直に折れ曲がっている前記バスバーの前記板状本体の下端部に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電圧センシングアセンブリー。
- 前記ブロックケースの上端面と下端面には、水分による通電を防止するための隔壁が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電圧センシングアセンブリー。
- 請求項1に記載の電圧センシングアセンブリーと、
一つ以上の電池セルがセルカバーに内蔵された状態でカートリッジに装着された構造の単位モジュールが2つ以上側面方向に配列されてなる単位モジュール積層体と、
前記単位モジュール積層体の4つの角部に装着されるカバー部材と、
を備えていることを特徴とする、電池モジュール。 - 前記カートリッジは、
電池セルが装着されるように前記電池セルに対応する長方形の形状を有し、且つ放熱するための貫通口が中央部位に形成されており、
単位モジュール積層体を固定するための締め付け部材が挿入される締め付け孔が4つの角部に形成されており、
前記カートリッジの前面には、電圧センシングアセンブリーがバスバーに安定して接続されるように、前記電圧センシングアセンブリー及びバスバーの装着のための装着用絶縁部材が組立方式で締め付けられる構造の結合部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記装着用絶縁部材は、単位モジュール積層体の前面に対応する大きさを有する直方体の形状になっており、後面には、カートリッジの前面端部が挿入されて結合するカートリッジ結合溝が形成されており、前面には、電池セルの電極端子連結部が後方から引き込まれて露出するように電極端子貫通溝が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記装着用絶縁部材の前面には、
バスバーの外部入出力端子接続部を搭載するための外部入出力端子接続部用着座部が両側端部に形成されており、
ブロックケースを搭載するためのブロックケース用着座部が中央部位に形成されており、
バスバーを装着するためのバスバー用着座部が、バスバーに対応する大きさで形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記外部入出力端子接続部用着座部には、締め付け用突出部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電極端子貫通溝を通って前面に露出した電池セルの電極端子連結部は、電極端子貫通溝に装着されているバスバーの両側面と電気的に接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記バスバーは、バスバー用着座部と熱融着により結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記装着用絶縁部材の上端面と下端面には、水分による通電を防止するための隔壁が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルは、樹脂層及び金属層を含むラミネートシートのケースに電極組立体が内蔵されているパウチ型の電池セルであることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の電池モジュール。
- 請求項9項に記載の電池モジュールを単位体にして製造された高出力・大容量の電池パック。
- 前記電池パックは、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグ−インハイブリッド電気自動車、又は電力貯蔵装置の電源として用いられることを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の電池パック。
