Abstract
【解決手段】実施形態によれば、内径が13〜17mmで、内部に放電空間12が設けられるように両端が封止された内管11と、放電空間12の両端に設けられた一対の電極16a、16bと、放電空間12に封入された水銀を含むアマルガム13と、両端から延びて形成されたフレア部15a、15a、15b、15bと、を有し、第1の紫外光を放射する発光管10と;発光管10と空間30を介して設けられ、フレア部15a、15a、15b、15bと接続され、第1の紫外光が照射され、第1の紫外光よりも波長の長い第2の紫外光を放出する蛍光体層20と、を有する外管21と;を備え、単位長さあたりのランプ入力密度が0.5〜4W/cmである。

Claims (4)
- 内径が13〜17mmで、内部に放電空間が設けられるように両端が封止された内管と、前記放電空間の両端に設けられた一対の電極と、前記放電空間に封入された水銀を含むアマルガムと、前記両端から延びて形成されたフレア部と、を有し、第1の紫外光を放射する発光管と;
前記発光管と空間を介して設けられ、前記フレア部と接続され、前記第1の紫外光が照射され、前記第1の紫外光よりも波長の長い第2の紫外光を放出する蛍光体層と、を有する外管と;
を備え、単位長さあたりのランプ入力密度が0.5〜4W/cmである紫外線ランプ。 - 前記アマルガムにおける前記水銀の封入量は0.03〜3wt%である請求項1記載の紫外線ランプ。
- 前記アマルガムには、チタン、インジウム、スズ、ビスマス、亜鉛のいずれか一を含む請求項1または2記載の紫外線ランプ。
- 前記空間に封入される前記ガスは、ネオン、アルゴン、窒素のいずれか、または二種以上の混合ガスが97.1kPa以上封入される請求項1〜3のいずれか一に記載の紫外線ランプ。
