Abstract
【解決手段】カメラ31により撮影された車両の運転席の画像に基づいて、運転者の姿勢崩れを検出する検出手段と、検出手段により検出された運転者の姿勢崩れが、運転者の癖による姿勢崩れか否か判定する判定手段と、判定手段により癖による姿勢崩れと判定された場合と、判定手段により癖以外の姿勢崩れと判定された場合とで、異なる態様により前記運転者に姿勢崩れに関する通知を行う通知手段33,34と、を備える。判定手段は、運転開始直後から崩れ判定時間よりも長く継続して、検出手段により運転者の姿勢崩れが検出されている場合に、癖による姿勢崩れと判定する。

Description
・癖による姿勢崩れと判定された場合は、複数の停車タイミングに分けて姿勢情報を提示するようにしてもよい。例えば、適切な運転姿勢の提示と姿勢崩れの影響の提示を、異なる停車タイミングで提示してもよい。また、図6に示す適切な運転姿勢を提示する場合、手順AからDまで順番に提示するようにして、1回目の停車タイミングで手順Bまで提示したら、2回目の停車タイミングで手順Cから提示するようにしてもよい。複数の停車タイミングに分けて姿勢情報を提示することにより、より多くの姿勢情報を安全に運転者に提示できる。なお、複数の停車タイミングに分けて姿勢情報を提示する場合、全ての姿勢情報を提示する前にドライバの姿勢が改善されれば、残りの姿勢情報の提示を中止するようにしてもよい。
Claims (9)
- カメラ(31)により撮影された車両の運転席の画像に基づいて、運転者の姿勢崩れを検出する検出手段(21)と、
前記検出手段により検出された運転者の姿勢崩れが、前記運転者の癖による姿勢崩れか否か判定する判定手段(22)と、
前記判定手段により癖による姿勢崩れと判定された場合と、前記判定手段により癖以外の姿勢崩れと判定された場合とで、異なる態様により前記運転者に姿勢崩れに関する通知を行う通知手段(33,34)と、を備えることを特徴とする運転者監視装置。 - 前記判定手段は、運転開始直後から崩れ判定時間よりも長く継続して前記検出手段により前記運転者の姿勢崩れが検出されている場合に、前記癖による姿勢崩れと判定する請求項1に記載の運転者監視装置。
- 前記通知手段は、前記判定手段により癖による姿勢崩れと判定された場合に、所定のタイミングで姿勢情報を提示し、前記判定手段により癖以外の姿勢崩れと判定された場合に、直ちに注意を喚起する請求項1又は2に記載の運転者監視装置。
- 前記姿勢情報は、適切な運転姿勢及び姿勢崩れの影響の少なくとも一方を含む情報である請求項3に記載の運転者監視装置。
- 前記所定のタイミングは、停車タイミングである請求項3又は4に記載の運転者監視装置。
- 前記通知手段は、前記姿勢情報を、複数の前記停車タイミングに分けて提示する請求項5に記載の運転者監視装置。
- 前記通知手段は、前記癖による姿勢崩れの崩れ方に応じて、前記姿勢情報の内容を変化させて提示する請求項3〜6のいずれかに記載の運転者監視装置。
- 前記姿勢情報を提示する頻度を前記運転者に設定させる設定手段(36)を備える請求項3〜7のいずれかに記載の運転者監視装置。
- 前記画像に基づいて、前記運転者の眼の開度を算出する開度算出手段(23)と、
前記通知手段により注意を喚起した後に前記運転者の姿勢が改善されず、且つ前記開度算出手段により算出された前記開度が開度閾値よりも開度判定時間を超えて小さい場合に、前記車両を安全に停車させる信号を車両制御装置(40)へ出力する停車手段(24)と、を備える請求項3〜8のいずれかに記載の運転者監視装置。
