Claims (5)
- 平坦部が長手方向に延びている管状の密閉容器と、前記密閉容器の内部に封入された作動流体と、毛管力によって作動液を流動させるウイックとを備え、前記密閉容器の長手方向で一方端側が前記作動液を蒸発させる蒸発部となり、前記密閉容器の長手方向で他端側が前記作動流体を凝縮させる凝縮部となるように構成された扁平ヒートパイプにおいて、
前記密閉容器は、上壁部および下壁部が前記平坦部に形成され、
前記ウイックは、
前記密閉容器の長手方向に沿って延びるように形成され、前記凝縮部で凝縮された作動液を毛管力によって前記蒸発部へ還流させる還流用ウイックと、
前記還流用ウイックによって前記蒸発部に還流された前記作動液を、毛管力によって前記蒸発部内に拡散させる液拡散用ウイックとを含み、
前記還流用ウイックは、前記上壁部と前記下壁部とのうち少なくともいずれか一方の内壁面に設けられ、
前記液拡散用ウイックは、長手方向で前記蒸発部内のみに設けられ、かつ前記還流用ウイックが設けられている前記平坦部の内壁面から窪んで前記密閉容器の周方向に延びているとともに、前記還流用ウイックによって溝開口部が蓋をされてトンネル状に形成された部分を含む溝ウイックにより構成されている
ことを特徴とする扁平ヒートパイプ。 - 前記液拡散用ウイックは、前記蒸発部内において、周方向で前記密閉容器の内面の全周に亘って設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の扁平ヒートパイプ。
- 前記液拡散用ウイックは、前記蒸発部内で前記還流用ウイックが設けられている前記平坦部のみに設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の扁平ヒートパイプ。
- 前記還流用ウイックは、前記平坦部のうち幅方向で一部の前記内壁面と接触するように形成された細線ウイックを含み、
前記細線ウイックは、複数本の極細線を有する細線束に形成され、
前記液拡散用ウイックは、前記還流用ウイックが設けられている前記平坦部のうち当該還流用ウイックとは非接触の内壁面から窪んで周方向に延びている部分を含む前記溝ウイックにより構成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の扁平ヒートパイプ。 - 前記還流用ウイックは、長手方向に沿って延びるように形成され、かつ前記平坦部のうち幅方向で一部の前記内壁面と接触するように形成された多孔質ウイックを含み、
前記多孔質ウイックは、金属粉末の焼結体によって形成され、
前記液拡散用ウイックは、幅方向で、前記還流用ウイックが設けられている前記平坦部のうち当該還流用ウイックとは非接触の内壁面に設けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の扁平ヒートパイプ。
