Abstract

- 係合することにより所定の変速段を設定し、かつ所望の変速段を設定する際に解放させられる第1係合機構を備え、
前記第1係合機構は、第1ドグ歯が形成された第1部材と、軸線方向に移動することにより前記第1ドグ歯に噛み合う第2ドグ歯が形成された第2部材とを備えている自動変速機において、
前記第1ドグ歯は、円周方向での一方を向いた第1歯面と、円周方向での他方を向いた第2歯面とを有し、
前記第2ドグ歯は、前記第1歯面と対向する第3歯面と、前記第2歯面と対向する第4歯面とを有し、
前記第1歯面と前記第3歯面とは、前記所定の変速段から前記所望の変速段への変速の際に、これら第1歯面と第3歯面とを接触させる方向のトルクに応じて前記第1部材と前記第2部材とを軸線方向に離隔させるように推力を発生させる傾斜面とされ、
前記第1歯面と前記第3歯面とが接触した状態を維持するように前記第2部材を前記第1部材側に押圧する押圧機構を備えていることを特徴とする自動変速機。 - 前記所定の変速段は、複数の前進変速段のうちのいずれかの変速段を含み、
前記第1係合機構は、前記所定の変速段と後進変速段とを設定する際に係合させられる係合機構を含み、

- 前記押圧機構は、前記第2部材を軸線方向における一方側に押圧する弾性体と、該弾性体により前記第2部材が押圧される荷重に対抗した荷重を発生させるアクチュエータとを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の自動変速機。
- 前記アクチュエータは、供給される油圧に応じた荷重を発生させるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の自動変速機。
- 前記アクチュエータは、通電される電流値に応じた荷重を発生させるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の自動変速機。
- 前記弾性体は、前記第2部材を前記第1部材から離隔させる方向に弾性力を作用させるように構成され、
前記第2歯面と前記第4歯面とが接触し、かつ前記アクチュエータが荷重を発生させていない場合に、前記弾性体により押圧されて前記第2部材が前記第1部材から離隔しないように、前記第2歯面と前記第4歯面とは、前記第1部材および前記第2部材の回転方向に対して傾斜して形成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項4ないし6のいずれかに記載の自動変速機。 - 相対回転可能に設けられた第3部材と第4部材とをトルク伝達可能に連結する第2係合機構を更に備え、
前記所定の変速段は、前記第1係合機構を係合させるとともに、前記第2係合機構を解放させることにより設定され、かつ前記所望の変速段は、前記第1係合機構を解放させるとともに、前記第2係合機構を係合させることにより設定されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載の自動変速機。 - 前記第2係合機構は、伝達するトルク容量を変化させることができるように構成され、
前記第2係合機構の伝達トルク容量の増大に伴って、前記第1部材または前記第2部材に作用するトルクの方向が次第に反転するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の自動変速機。 - 前記第1係合機構は、ブレーキ機構を含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載の自動変速機。
- 前記第1部材と前記第2部材とは相対回転可能に設けられており、前記各ドグ歯が噛み合うことにより前記第1部材と前記第2部材とを連結して一体に回転させるクラッチ機構を含むように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載の自動変速機。
- 前記所定の変速段と、前記所望の変速段とで係合させられる第3係合機構を更に備えていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし11のいずれかに記載の自動変速機。
- 少なくとも三つの回転要素を有する第1遊星歯車機構と、
他の三つの回転要素を有する第2遊星歯車機構とを更に備え、
前記各係合機構は、前記第1遊星歯車機構または前記第2遊星歯車機構におけるいずれかの回転要素同士を連結し、またはいずれかの回転要素を固定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし12のいずれかに記載の自動変速機。
