Claims (15)
- a.暗状態で第1のスペクトル及びフェード状態で第2のスペクトルを有する可変透過率層と、
b.第3のスペクトルを有する色バランス調整層とを備える光学フィルタにおいて、
前記第1、第2、及び第3のスペクトルのそれぞれが、可視部分を含み、
前記第1及び第3のスペクトルが、組み合わさって暗状態目標色に近い暗状態スペクトルを与え、かつ
前記第2及び第3のスペクトルが、組み合わさってフェード状態目標色に近いフェード状態スペクトルを与える、光学フィルタ。 - 前記色バランス調整層が前記可変透過率層の内側に設けられる、請求項1に記載の光学フィルタ。
- c)光減衰層をさらに備える、請求項1又は2のいずれか一項に記載の光学フィルタ。
- 前記光減衰層が前記可変透過率層の外側に設けられる、請求項3に記載の光学フィルタ。
- 前記可変透過率層が、電磁線に暴露された時にフェード状態から暗状態にかつ電圧の印加により暗状態からフェード状態に遷移可能なスイッチング材料を含んでなる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の光学フィルタ。
- 前記電磁線がUV光である、請求項5に記載の光学フィルタ。
- 前記電磁線が450nm以下の波長成分、又は400〜450nmの波長成分のうちの少なくとも一方を有する、請求項5に記載の光学フィルタ。
- 前記印加電圧が約1.1〜約2.5V又はそれらの間の任意の量もしくは範囲である、請求項5に記載の光学フィルタ。
- 赤外(IR)遮断層、紫外(UV)遮断層、又はUV遮断層及びIR遮断層をさらに備
え、任意で前記UV遮断層が、約370nm以下、約400nm以下、約420nm以下、又は約435nm以下の波長の光を遮断する、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の光学フィルタ。 - a.約15%未満、もしくは約10%未満、もしくは約5%未満、もしくは約2%未満、もしくは1%未満の暗状態LTA、及び
b.約5%超、もしくは約10%超、もしくは約15%超、もしくは約20%超のフェード状態LTA、及び
c.少なくとも5、少なくとも10、もしくは少なくとも20のコントラスト比
のうちの少なくとも1つを有する、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の光学フィルタ。 - a)前記暗状態で1%以下かつ前記明状態で6%以上の光透過値を有すること、又はb)前記暗状態で5%以下かつ前記明状態で15%以上の光透過値を有することのうちの少なくとも一方を満たす、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の光学フィルタ。
- 前記暗状態の目標色及び前記暗状態の光学フィルタの色が、
a)約0〜約20のΔC値を与え、
b)約0〜約20のΔE値を与え、
c)約0〜約20のΔC値を与え、及び/又は
d)約0〜約20のΔE値を与える、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の光学フィルタ。 - 請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の光学フィルタを含んでなるデバイスであって、前記デバイスは、ラミネートガラス、眼科用デバイス、自動車用板ガラス製品、又は建築用板ガラス製品である、デバイス。
- 前記自動車用板ガラス製品がサンルーフを含んでなる、請求項13に記載の自動車用板ガラス製品。
- a.暗状態で第1のスペクトル及びフェード状態で第2のスペクトルを有する可変透過率層を設ける工程と、
b.第3のスペクトルを有する色バランス調整層を選択する工程と、
c.前記可変透過率層と前記色バランス調整層とをスタック形態で組み合わせて、フェード状態、暗状態、又はフェード状態及び暗状態の両方で目標色に近づける工程とを備える、目標色に近い光学フィルタを製造するための方法。
