熱変色性材料又はシステムとを備えた熱変色性近赤外線(NIR)吸収中間層であって、
前記中間層は、15℃では、50%超の内部可視光透過率及び55%未満の内部太陽エネルギー透過率を有し、75℃では、20%未満の内部可視光透過率及び20%未満の内部太陽エネルギー透過率を有し、前記中間層の内部ヘイズは3.5%未満であることを特徴とする中間層。 - 前記ポリマーマトリクス中に分散されたNIR吸収物質及び前記ポリマーマトリクス中に溶解されたNIR吸収物質を含み、前記ポリマーマトリクス中に分散されたNIR吸収物質はセシウム及びタングステンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記NIR吸収物質は、前記ポリマーマトリクス中に溶解されたテトラハロメタレートのナノ粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の中間層。

- 前記第2NIR吸収物質は、前記中間層の前記ポリマーマトリクス中に溶解されたテトラハロメタレートを含むことを特徴とする請求項44に記載の積層体。
- 前記テトラハロメタレートは、テトラブロモニッケレート(NiBr4 2−)、テトラブロモコバルテート(CoBr4 2−)、テトライオドコバルテート(CoI4 2−)又はこれらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする請求項47に記載の積層体。
- 前記熱変色性材料又はシステムは、配位子交換熱変色性材料又はシステムであることを特徴とする請求項44に記載の積層体。
- 前記中間層は、色抑制添加剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項44に記載の積層体。
- 前記中間層は、複数の層を含み、前記複数の層は、第1熱変色性層、第2熱変色性層、及び、前記第1熱変色性層と前記第2熱変色性層との間のセパレータ層を含むことを特徴とする請求項44に記載の積層体。
- 前記セパレータ層は、NIR吸収物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項51に記載の積層体。
- 前記セパレータ層は、多層交互屈折率(MLARI)フィルムを含み、前記NIR吸収物質は、テトラハロメタレートを含むことを特徴とする請求項51に記載の積層体。
- 前記第1シート及び第2シートは、曲げガラスのシートであることを特徴とする請求項44に記載の積層体。
- 前記中間層は、吸音中間層であることを特徴とする請求項44に記載の積層体。
- 前記積層体は、UVバリアを含むことを特徴とする請求項44に記載の積層体。
