Abstract

Description
本発明は、請求項1の序文の特徴を有する合わせ板ガラスおよびこの合わせ板ガラスの使用に関する。
合わせガラス板でできた板ガラスは車両および建築物において広く用いられている。これらの板ガラスは、この中にいくつかの機能を備えており、例えば、これらの板ガラスは、開口部を閉鎖しており、これらの板ガラスが破壊された場合受ける損傷の危険性をなくしている。さらに、このような板ガラスは、しばしば、一方で、内部を過剰に加熱しないために入射太陽放射の全てを透過させてはならず、他方で、内部を十分に照らすために光の十分に多い量を透過させなければならない。これらの2つの要求、すなわち、エネルギー放射の過剰な進入を防止することおよび内部を十分に照らすことという要求、を満たすには、折り合いが必要である。したがって、エネルギーに対する透明性および光に対する透明性の観点から、増大した選択性を有する合わせ板ガラスを持つという要求が存在する。
前記要求を満たすために、例えば、赤外線の一部を反射する太陽防護層と呼ばれるものを利用することが可能である。着色ガラス、または放射を吸収して入射光スペクトルのある一定の周波数を除去するガラス、を使用することも、知られている。
ドイツ特許DE19927683C1は、少なくとも2つの固体のガラス製ガラス板と、これらを結合させる透明な結合層とからなる合わせガラスで作られた、透明な板ガラスを開示しており、合わせガラスで作られた板ガラスには、赤外線を反射する太陽防護層が備えられている。合わせガラスで作られた板ガラスは、熱放射を本質的に反射する別の透明な層が、内部に向けられた表面上に設けられることを特徴とする。外側から入射する、短いおよび中程度の波長の赤外線に対する太陽防護機能に加えて、合わせ板ガラスは、また、熱防護機能も果たす。太陽防護層は、太陽防護層の前面に設置された合わせ板ガラスの層が透明な場合、特に効果的である。熱防護機能は、内部から来る長波長の赤外線を反射して、これを内部へ送り返すようにすることによって得られる。
ドイツ特許明細書DE10249263B4は、自動的に減光するガラス製ガラス板およびlow−E層を備えた、熱的な快適効果をもたらす板ガラスを開示しており、low−E層は、車両の内部に向けられた表面上に設置されている。夏には、low−E層は、ガラス表面から車両の内部に入る放射の温度を低下させる効果を有する。冬には、low−E層は、車両の乗客が放出した赤外線を反射して車両の内部へ戻す効果を有するに違いない。一実施形態において、板ガラスは、4つの層、すなわち、外側から出発して、第1のガラス製ガラス板、減光効果を有するSPD(懸濁粒子デバイス)シート、第2のガラスシートおよび第2のガラスシート上に設置され、車両の内部に向けられたlow−E層、からなる。
文書WO2005/012200A1は、低い太陽係数を有し、多層システムを備えた透明基板を開示している。多層システムは、基板から出発して、誘電体の第1層、第1吸収層、赤外線を反射する層、第2吸収層および誘電体でできている封止層、からなる。被覆された基板による光吸収は、基板が、6mm厚さのソーダ石灰ガラスでできた透明なガラス板である場合、35%またはそれ以上でなければならない。
本発明の基本的な問題は、製造が容易であり、熱的快適さの感覚を高める合わせガラスを如何にして提供するかということである。
本発明によれば、この問題は請求項1の特徴によって解決される。従属請求項の特徴により、この主題を有利に展開することができる。
したがって、本発明による合わせ板ガラスは、放射を吸収する、中間層、多層システム(合わせ板ガラスの内面上に設置されており、限定された枠内で可視光線を透過させる)によって共に接合された、2つの個別の着色ガラス板からなる。多層システムにぶつかり、多層システムを通過しない放射の部分は、多層システムの性質および構造に応じて、多層システムによって、反射されまたは吸収され、あるいは反射されおよび吸収される。したがって、多層システムは、入射光のスペクトルに選択的に作用する。
加えて、個々の着色ガラス板は赤外線の別の部分を吸収するが、可視光線は同程度には吸収されない。したがって、個々のガラス板は選択効果を有する。具体的には、赤外線、特に近赤外線が可視光線の形態において内部に透過することが防止される、この多重フィルター効果のために、本発明による合わせ板ガラスは、通常使用される合わせ板ガラスまたは知られている個々の着色ガラス板より高い選択性を有する。
驚いたことに、本発明においては、入射光の方向に、多層システムの前面に置かれる透明なガラス板なしで済ますことが可能であるが、このガラス板は、金属ベースの太陽防護層を備えた、知られているガラス製合わせ板ガラスの効力を上げるために、不可欠と考えられている。多くの場合、外部に向けられたガラス製ガラス板においては、赤外線をできる限り吸収しないために、鉄含有量の低い無着色ガラス組成物でさえ使用される。これは、多層システムの効果を必ず向上させる。
本発明による合わせ板ガラスにおいて使用される多層システムは、放射の全エネルギーTEに対して8%から35%の水準で透明である。「放射の全エネルギー」という用語は、250nmから2500nmの波長範囲における太陽放射を意味すると、ここでは理解される。したがって、放射の全エネルギーの92%から65%の割合が、反射(RE)および/または吸収(AE)され、REのAEに対する比は、多層システムの性質および構造によって決まる。板ガラスを通過する全放射は、また、350nmから750nmの波長範囲における可視光線を明らかに含んでいる。薄膜多層システムの性質に応じて、可視範囲における透過率TLは、5%から75%の間である。
本発明による合わせ板ガラスの個々のガラス板は、全体の光に対する透明性、または板ガラスを通して見える色などの限定された効果を得るために、異なる色または吸収性を有することができる。特に、より高度に着色された内側のガラス板を使用することによって、赤外線を遮りながら、同時に、合わせ板ガラスの限定された全体の色調または全体の吸収を得るという観点から、多層システムの効果を増大させるために、外側のガラス板を、内側のガラス製ガラス板より着色を少なくすることができる。
同様の効果を、異なる厚さのガラス板を用いて得ることができる。しかし、また、異なる厚さを有する個々のガラス板を用いることにより、合わせ板ガラスの機械特性を特定の用途に適合させることもできる。
多層システムが合わせ板ガラスの内側に設置されているならば、この多層システムを外側ガラス板に、内側のガラス板に、または中間層に適用することができる。これ自体が知られている、1つ以上の機能性銀層ならびに適切な障壁および干渉層を有する薄膜多層システムは、多層システムとして好ましい。これらの薄膜多層システムは、真空コーティング(例えば、マグネトロンスパッタリングまたはPVD法)により、通常、基板上に堆積される。これらの個々の層の厚さおよび使用するコーティング材料は、本発明による合わせ板ガラスにおける、特定の使用に適合させることができる。
本発明による合わせ板ガラスにおいて使用される個々のガラス板は、ガラス、ガラス−セラミックまたはプラスチック(例えば、ポリカーボネート)で作ることができる。
本発明による合わせ板ガラスの個々のガラス板は、2つのガラス板を接合させる中間層と共に、安全ガラスでできている合わせ板ガラスを形成するように、好ましくはガラスでできている。好ましくは、ガラス板は1mmから5mmの厚さを有することになる。重量を節減するために、特に、合わせ板ガラスを自動車にはめ込む場合は、ガラス板は、薄い厚さと良好な安定性との間のできる限り良好な折り合いを達成することができるようにしなければならない。このような折り合いは、1.6mmから3.1mmの厚さを有するガラス板によって達成することができる。合わせ安全ガラスについては、ポリビニルブチラール(PVB)が、中間層に非常に適した材料であることが分かっており、ほとんどの場合、0.38mmまたは0.76mmの厚さにおいて使用されている。ガラス製ガラス板および中間接合層としてのPVBを含む合わせ板ガラスの全体の厚さは、したがって、約3.6mmから7mmの好ましい範囲にある。
PVBに加えて、中間層に適した他の任意の材料、例えば、エチレン/酢酸ビニル(EVA)コポリマー、ポリウレタン(PU)またはポリ塩化ビニル(PVC)などの熱可塑性樹脂も、勿論、使用することができる。注型用樹脂を、個々のガラス板を共に接合させるために、同様に適切に使用することができる。
赤外線を吸収する着色ガラス製のガラス板は、さまざまなガラスの厚さ、色調および色の深みのものが知られている。したがって、出願人は、例えば、SGS THERMOCONTROL(登録商標)Venus Green、SGS THERMOCONTROL(登録商標)Venus GrayおよびSGS THERMOCONTROL(登録商標)Absorbing TSA3+の名称を有し、さまざまな色調の深みを有し、さまざまな厚さを有し、さまざまな透過値を得ることを可能にする、全体が着色された緑または灰色のガラスを提案する。これらの名称において、SGSはSaint−Gobain Sekuritを表す。
ガラス製ガラス板およびこれらのガラス製ガラス板を結合させるPVBシートを使用し、中間層が多層システムを備えなければならない場合は、プラスチックのPVBシートを被覆するのは大変な困難が伴うので、多層システムのための追加の支持シートを使用しなければならない。この目的には、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)支持シートが非常に適していることが判明しており、この支持シートは被覆された後で、2つのPVBシートの間に取り入れられる。このようにして、個々のガラス板を、合わせ板ガラスとして接合するための中間層の役割を果たす、3層シートが得られる。
金属(銀、金、銅、合金鋼など)で作られた機能層を含む、部分的に透明な薄膜多層システムに加えて、他の材料をベースとする薄膜多層システムも、知られており、例えば、金属酸化物(例えば、インジウムをドーピングした酸化錫)をベースとするものがある。このような薄膜多層システムも、本発明による合わせ板ガラスにおいて使用するのに基本的に適している。加えて、電気伝導性機能層を含有せず、異なる屈折率を有する複数の個別の層によって、干渉多層システムを個々に形成する、反射および/または吸収薄膜多層システムも市場に存在する。例えば、会社スリーエム(3M)は、3M(商標)太陽反射膜(SRF)の名称を有する、このような多層システムを備えたシートを提供している。
好ましい一実施形態においては、本発明による合わせ板ガラスは、多層システムおよび使用されるガラス板を適切に選択することにより、外側に入射する可視光の50%まで反射する。外側から見た場合、この合わせ板ガラスは、半ば反射鏡の外観を有する。必要な場合は、使用する多層システムの反射色を、外側のガラス製ガラス板を着色することによって、修正することまたは和らげることができる。このことは、ある一定の色彩効果が望ましくない場合、または外観が隣接する他の構成要素との関連性を乱す場合は、特に有用である。
多めにまたは少なめに着色されたガラス板に加えて、中間層も、これ自体の色調を有し、および/または赤外線吸収効果を発揮する。中間層が、外側のガラス板の赤外線吸収効果を高めなければならない場合、明らかに、中間層は、外側から見て多層システムの前面に設置されなければならない。中間層の反射色がさらに修正されることができ、影響されうるのは、この順序においてのみである。
本発明による合わせ板ガラスが、外側からおよび/または内側から観察される場合、反射色の見地から、および観察者が、本発明による合わせ板ガラスを通して見る場合、この合わせ板ガラスが見える色の見地の両面から、本発明による合わせ板ガラスに影響を及ぼすことが可能であることを、ここで指摘しなければならない。これは、一方では、使用される個々のガラス板および中間層を着色することによって、および他方では、厚さおよび材料の順序を適切に選択することによって達成される。
着色ガラス板および/または赤外線を選択的に反射または吸収する多層システムを有する赤外線吸収ガラス板(および場合により、着色および/または赤外線吸収中間層)の適切な一組合せにおいて、本発明による合わせ板ガラスは、全体として高い選択性を有する。選択性は、1.8を超える、透過光TLと透過エネルギーTEとの比(TL/TE)によって定義される。好ましくは、2.4を超える選択性が、確立されるはずである。
一定の用途においておよび最も特別には自動車の用途において、一次元または二次元に沿って合わせ板ガラスを曲げることが必要となる可能性がある。合わせ板ガラスが個々のガラス製ガラス板からなる場合は、第1に平坦なガラス製ガラス板を多層システムにより被覆し、次いで、これを曲げ、および/または500℃から640℃の間の温度でこれを熱的に(部分的に)プレストレスすることができるように、多層システムは、好ましくは熱的に安定である。別の方法で曲げられたまたは熱処理されたガラス製ガラス板を被覆することができるコーティング方法も、知られているが、これらの方法は、より複雑なことを実行する加工処理を必要とし、より広範囲な加工処理による場合を除いて、安全ガラスで作られた合わせ板ガラス用の製造手順に組み込むことができない。
建築物に組み込むことに加えて、本発明による合わせ板ガラスは、車両のサンルーフ、サイドウインドウまたはリアウインドウとして使用するのに適している。このような板ガラスが、Bコラム(B column)を超えてサイドウインドウとして使用される場合は、可視波長範囲内で75%の最小透過率を課している法的要件は、少なくともドイツにおいては、もはや適用されない。本発明においては、板ガラスの光透過の様相は、二次的なものであり、優先すべき事項は、合わせ板ガラスが、改善された熱的快適さの感覚および車両の中における一定の明るさを与えることであり、向上した熱的快適さは、光透過およびエネルギー透過の見地から見て、高い選択性によって得られる。
本発明の主題の別の詳細および利点は、以下の非限定的な実施例から、明らかになるはずである。
表1は、比較例および2つの実施例1および2において試験された、合わせ板ガラスにおいて使用された多層システムの構造を示す。また、表1は、使用されたガラスのタイプも示す。全て2つの銀機能層を有する多層システムは、合わせ板ガラスの個々のガラス板の内面上に真空蒸着法を用いて蒸着された。こうして、腐食を防ぐために、ことによると必要とされる可能性のある境界層は、外側から見られた場合、外側のガラス板の内面に施された不透明なエッジコーティングによって隠されているので、内側のガラス板を被覆することは通常のことである。ガラス製ガラス板が使用された場合、エッジコーティングは、印刷され、次いで加熱された着色セラミックから通常なる。エッジコーティングまたはマスクを蒸着することが不必要な場合、例えば、合わせ板ガラスが作製済みの枠の中に保持されている場合、または合わせ板ガラスが射出成形または押出成形によるプラスチックの枠を備えている場合は、多層システムも、勿論、外側のガラス板の内面に施されうる。
ガラスのさまざまなタイプが、合わせ板ガラスにおいて使用されており、略号は、下に与えられた意味を有する:
PLX →通常の透明ガラス;
TSA3+ →暗緑色に着色されたガラス
VG40 →濃い暗緑色に着色されたガラス
VG10 →Venus Gray、濃い暗灰色に着色されたガラス
および
VV55 →Venus Green、暗緑色に強く着色されたガラス
3.15mmの標準の厚さを有する前記ガラスの光およびエネルギー透過値が、表2に与えられている。
PLX →通常の透明ガラス;
TSA3+ →暗緑色に着色されたガラス
VG40 →濃い暗緑色に着色されたガラス
VG10 →Venus Gray、濃い暗灰色に着色されたガラス
および
VV55 →Venus Green、暗緑色に強く着色されたガラス
3.15mmの標準の厚さを有する前記ガラスの光およびエネルギー透過値が、表2に与えられている。
表3は、光学特性、すなわち、比較例および実施例の合わせ板ガラスの、光透過TL、エネルギー透過TE、選択性TL/TE、光反射RLおよびエネルギー反射REを与える。
表3は、選択性TL/TEが、実施例の合わせ板ガラスにおける方が、比較例の合わせ板ガラスにおけるよりもかなり高いことを明瞭に示す。比較例の合わせ板ガラスは、主として自動車のフロントガラスにおける太陽防護板ガラスとして使用されており、このため、光透過TLの数値は、法的要件を守るために75%に設定されなければならない。太陽防護層の能力は、入射光に向けられたガラス板ができるだけ放射を吸収しない場合に、増大するという通常の前提とは対照的に、本発明による合わせ板ガラスは、一方に、適切な薄膜多層によって、選択性が比較例の1.7よりかなり高い値となる吸収性ガラス板を使用する。光に対する透明性が低く、フロントガラスに対して設定された要件を下回るので、本発明による合わせ板ガラスは、フロントガラスとして使用することはできないが、サンルーフまたは「ダークテール(dark tail)」板ガラスと呼ばれるもの、すなわち、光の一定量を透過させながら、放射の全エネルギーを低減させる用途には、ひときわよく適合する。したがって、本発明による合わせ板ガラスは、太陽板ガラスおよび/または防護および遮断板ガラスとして、特によく適合する。
吸収の低いガラスが外部のガラス板に使用される場合は、多層システムによって合わせ板ガラスを、十分な反射性をもつものにする。しかし、反射性多層システムが吸収性ガラスの外部ガラス板と組み合わされる場合は、合わせ板ガラスは、全く吸収性のように見える。このため、外部ガラス板による光吸収は、光反射を低減させる。
既に示したように、誘電体によって互いに分離された2つの機能性銀層からなる多層システムが、本実施例および比較例の両方において使用されている。他の誘電体層は、ガラスと下方の銀層との間および上方の銀層の上にも施されている。これらの誘電体層のおかげで、第1に、多層システムは、反射防止効果を、とりわけ部分的に提供することができ干渉効果のおかげで、第2に、反射および透過における色を変えることができる。
多層システムの反射および/または色彩効果を変化させるさらなる可能性は、2つ以上の機能層からなる多層システムによって提供される。この場合、誘電体中間層のより多数が、また、変化のさらなる可能性を提供して、反射層ばかりでなく反射防止層も作りだす。したがって、特に、多層システムの色を顧客の要望に合わせる可能性が存在する。反射において淡い青色または灰色を有することが、しばしば所望される。
下に与えられた図は、比較例ならびに実施例1および2の両方において、使用されている個々のガラス板の中のいくつかの光学特性を、再度図示する。
例として、図1から3は、それぞれ2.1mmのガラス厚さを有する、合わせ板ガラスにおいて使用された個々のガラス板(すなわち、SGS PLANILUX(登録商標)、SGS THERMOCONTROL(登録商標)Absorbing TSA3+およびSGS THERMOCONTROL(登録商標)Venus Gray10(VG10))の放射のパーセント透過の変化を、波長の関数として示す。
図4.1および4.2は、比較例の場合の放射のパーセント透過および放射のパーセント反射の変化を、波長の関数として示す。図5.1および5.2は、実施例1のパーセント透過および反射値を示し、図6.1および6.2は、実施例2について示す。
完成した(terminated)板ガラスシステム全体の光学的数値を示す図4から6において、実施例においては、透過が比較例の場合より低く、特に近赤外線領域において最も著しいことを認めることができる。さらにまた、可視光線領域において、透過もより低いが、既に示したように、このことは好ましい用途に関しては重要ではない。対照的に、遮蔽するためのまたは見られるのを防護するための板ガラス(すなわち、「ダークテール」板ガラス)の可視光線透過が前記のように低減されることは、望ましくさえある。
比較例と較べて、実施例1は、スペクトルの可視領域において、より低い透過およびより低い反射の両方を有し、したがって、暗い外観の吸収性合わせ板ガラスが得られる。
対照的に、実施例2の図は、反射が、スペクトルの可視領域において比較的高いことを示す。この場合、実施例2の合わせ板ガラスは、可視領域において反射する合わせガラスの外観を有する。
2つの実施例は、非常に異なる効果を有するように見えるが、これらの実施例は、それにもかかわらず両方とも、それぞれ2.3および2.8の高い選択性TL/TEを有する。
適切な多層システムまたは比較的強力な吸収性ガラス板を選択することにより、本発明による合わせ板ガラスによって、所望の高い選択性を決して低減させることなく、合わせ板ガラスの外観を調節することができる。
Claims (20)
- 窓の開口部を閉じることが意図されている合わせ板ガラスであり、中間層により接合される外側の固体ガラス板および内側の固体ガラス板ならびに前記合わせ板ガラスの内面上に設置される可視光に対して部分的に透明な多層システムからなり、前記ガラス板が着色されおよび赤外線および可視光の一部を吸収すること、ならびに前記多層システムが赤外線を選択的に反射および/または吸収することを特徴とする、合わせ板ガラス。
- 多層システムが、8%から35%の間のエネルギー透過を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- ガラス板が、比較的高度に着色され、および/または赤外線をさまざまな程度に吸収することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 外側のガラス板が、内側のガラス板より、浅く着色されることまたは赤外線を吸収する能力が低いことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- ガラス板が、異なる厚さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1から4の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 外側のガラス板が、多層システムを備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1から5の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 内側のガラス板が、多層システムを備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1から6の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 中間層が、多層システムを備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1から7の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- ガラス板がガラスでできており、および1mmから5mmの、また好ましくは1.6mmから3.1mmの厚さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1から8の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 中間層が、多層システムを備えたポリエチレンテレフタレートシートを間に設置している、2つのポリビニルブチラールシートからなることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 多層システムが、1つ以上の機能性銀層を有する薄膜多層システムであることを特徴とする、請求項1から10の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 多層システムが、非金属ベースのフィルター多層システムおよび特に干渉多層システムであることを特徴とする、請求項1から10の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 外側から入射する可視光の50%まで反射することを特徴とする、請求項1から12の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 外側のガラス板が、多層システムの反射色の少なくとも一部を吸収することを特徴とする、請求項1から13の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 中間層が、着色され、および/または赤外線を少なくとも部分的に吸収することを特徴とする、請求項1から14の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 外側から見て、多層システムを、着色された、および/または赤外線を吸収する中間層の裏に設置すること、および前記中間層が多層システムの可視反射色の少なくとも一部を吸収することを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 光透過のエネルギー透過に対する比、TL/TE、が、1.8を超え、および好ましくは2.4を超えることを特徴とする、請求項1から16の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 曲げられていることを特徴とする、請求項1から17の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- ガラス板が、ガラスでできていること、可視光に対して部分的に透明な多層システムが、ガラス板の1つの上に設置されていること、および前記多層システムが、熱的に応力をかけることができることを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の合わせ板ガラス。
- 車両または航空機のサイドウインドウ、テールゲートまたはサンルーフとしての、請求項1から19の一項に記載の合わせ板ガラスの使用。
