Abstract
Description
バインダーを溶媒に分散または溶解させて、バインダー溶液を製造する過程と、
前記バインダー溶液と電極活物質及び導電材を混合して、電極スラリーを製造する過程と、
前記電極スラリーを集電体上にコーティングする過程と、
電極を乾燥する過程と、
電極を一定の厚さに圧縮する過程とを含む。
上記式中、M’は、Ti、Sn、Cu、Pb、Sb、Zn、Fe、In、Al及びZrからなる群から選択される一つ以上の元素であり、
a及びbは、0.1≦a≦4、0.2≦b≦4の範囲でM’の酸化数(oxidation number)によって決定され、
cは、0≦c<0.2の範囲でAの酸化数によって決定され、
Aは、−1または−2価の一つ以上のアニオンである。
上記式中、0.5≦a≦3、1≦b≦2.5である。
上記式中、0.9≦x≦1.2、0<y<2、0≦z<0.2であり、

平均粒径(D50)が1.5μmであるLi4Ti5O12(LTO #1)と、平均粒径(D50)が15.6μmであるLi4Ti5O12(LTO #2)との重量比が70:30である混合物を製造した。平均粒径(D50)は、PSD(Particle size distribution)測定機器を用いて測定した。
平均粒径(D50)が1.5μmであるLi4Ti5O12(LTO #1)と、平均粒径(D50)が15.6μmであるLi4Ti5O12(LTO #2)との重量比が50:50である混合物を製造した。平均粒径(D50)は、PSD(Particle size distribution)測定機器を用いて測定した。
平均粒径(D50)が1.5μmであるLi4Ti5O12(LTO #1)と、平均粒径(D50)が15.6μmであるLi4Ti5O12(LTO #2)との重量比が30:70である混合物を製造した。平均粒径(D50)は、PSD(Particle size distribution)測定機器を用いて測定した。

平均粒径(D50)が1.5μmであるLi4Ti5O12(LTO #1)と、平均粒径(D50)が15.6μmであるLi4Ti5O12(LTO #2)との重量比が0:100である混合物を製造した。平均粒径(D50)は、PSD(Particle size distribution)測定機器を用いて測定した。
実施例1〜3及び比較例1及び2の混合物を130℃の条件下で48時間乾燥させた後、水分分析器(Satorius、WDS 400)を用いて水分含量を測定した。(温度条件:40〜400℃、測定時間:20分)
Claims (17)
- 平均粒径(D50)が互いに異なる2種以上のリチウム金属酸化物粒子の混合物を含む、電極活物質。
- 前記リチウム金属酸化物粒子は、1次粒子からなる2次粒子である、請求項1に記載の電極活物質。
- 前記混合物は、平均粒径(D50)が1nm以上〜3μm未満の範囲内である第1リチウム金属酸化物粒子と、平均粒径(D50)が3μm以上〜30μm以下の範囲内である第2リチウム金属酸化物粒子とを含んでいる、請求項1に記載の電極活物質。

- 前記第1リチウム金属酸化物粒子の平均粒径(D50)は、500nm以上〜2.0μm未満の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の電極活物質。
- 前記第1リチウム金属酸化物粒子の平均粒径(D50)は、700nm以上〜1.8μm未満の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の電極活物質。
- 前記第2リチウム金属酸化物粒子の平均粒径(D50)は、5μm以上〜25μm未満の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の電極活物質。
- 前記第2リチウム金属酸化物粒子の平均粒径(D50)は、10μm以上〜20μm未満の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の電極活物質。
- 前記第2リチウム金属酸化物粒子の平均粒径(D50)は、12μm以上〜20μm未満の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の電極活物質。
- 前記第1リチウム金属酸化物粒子と第2リチウム金属酸化物粒子との混合比は、70:30以上〜30:70以下の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の電極活物質。
- 前記リチウム金属酸化物は、下記化学式(1)で表示される、請求項1に記載の電極活物質:
LiaM’bO4−cAc(1)
上記式中、M’は、Ti、Sn、Cu、Pb、Sb、Zn、Fe、In、Al及びZrからなる群から選択される一つ以上の元素であり、
a及びbは、0.1≦a≦4、0.2≦b≦4の範囲でM’の酸化数(oxidation number)によって決定され、
cは、0≦c<0.2の範囲でAの酸化数によって決定され、
Aは、−1または−2価の一つ以上のアニオンである。 - 前記化学式(1)の酸化物は、下記化学式(2)で表される、請求項11に記載の電極活物質:
LiaTibO4(2)
上記式中、0.5≦a≦3、1≦b≦2.5である。 - 前記リチウム金属酸化物は、Li1.33Ti1.67O4またはLiTi2O4である、請求項12に記載の電極活物質。
- 請求項1乃至13のいずれか1項に記載の電極活物質を含む電極及び高分子膜を含み、正極と負極との間に高分子膜が介在した構造の電極組立体が電池ケースに内蔵されている、リチウム二次電池。
- 前記リチウム二次電池は、リチウムイオン電池である、請求項14に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リチウム二次電池は、リチウムイオンポリマー電池である、請求項14に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リチウム二次電池は、リチウムポリマー電池である、請求項14に記載のリチウム二次電池。
