Claims (22)
- 注入制御サイクル中に試薬注入器を通る電流を監視し、前記注入制御サイクル中に注入されるべき試薬の量に基づいてパルス幅変調(PWM)信号を生成し、前記電流に基づいて前記注入制御サイクル中に前記パルス幅変調(PWM)信号のデューティサイクルを選択的に増加させるか選択的に減少させるかの少なくとも1つをおこなうパルス幅変調(PWM)制御モジュールと、
前記PWM信号に基づいて電流を選択的に流したり流さなかったりする注入器ドライバモジュールと、
前記試薬注入器が開いて前記電流に基づいて排気装置に試薬を注入し、
前記排気装置がエンジンから出てくる排気を受け、
前記試薬が窒素酸化物(NOx)と反応する、ことを特徴とする車両用試薬注入器制御装置。 - 前記注入器ドライバモジュールに接続された第1の端子および前記試薬注入器に接続された第2の端子を有するセンスレジスタをさらに有し、
前記PWM制御モジュールは前記センスレジスタの端子間電圧に基づいて前記電流を決定することを特徴とする請求項1記載の試薬注入器制御装置。 - 前記試薬注入器を有し、かつ前記センスレジスタの第2の端子と接地電位との間に前記試薬注入器に並列に接続されたフライバックダイオードをさらに有することを特徴とする請求項2記載の試薬注入器制御装置。
- 前記フライバックダイオードがツェナーダイオードを含むことを特徴とする請求項3記載の試薬注入器制御装置。
- 前記試薬注入器は、
当該コイルを流れる電流に基づいて磁界を生成するコイルと、
前記磁界に基づいて軸動するピントルと、
を具備し、
前記ピントルは、
F430型ステンレス鋼からなるピントルヘッドと、
前記ピントルヘッドに接続されたピントルシャフトと、
を有することを特徴とする請求項3記載の試薬注入器制御装置。 - 前記試薬注入器は、
当該コイルを流れる電流に基づいて磁界を生成するコイルと、
前記磁界に基づいて軸動するピントルと、
を具備し、
前記ピントルは、
FR430型ステンレス鋼からなるピントルヘッドと、
前記ピントルヘッドに接続されたピントルシャフトと、
を有することを特徴とする請求項3記載の試薬注入器制御装置。 - 前記試薬注入器は、
当該コイルを流れる電流に基づいて磁界を生成するコイルと、
前記磁界に基づいて軸動するピントルと、
を具備し、
前記ピントルは、
単位重量当たり少なくとも1パーセントの珪素を含むソレノイドグレード材料を含むピントルヘッドと、
前記ピントルヘッドに接続されたピントルシャフトと、
を有することを特徴とする請求項3記載の試薬注入器制御装置。 - 前記PWM制御モジュールは、前記注入制御サイクル中の所定期間に前記PWM信号のデューティサイクルを100パーセントに設定し、前記注入制御サイクル中の前記所定期間の後において前記電流に基づいて前記PWM信号のデューティサイクルを選択的に減少させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の試薬注入器制御装置。
- 前記注入器ドライバモジュールは、前記PWM信号が不活性な状態にあるときにチャージし、前記PWM信号が活性な状態にあるときにディスチャージする少なくとも1つのコンデンサを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の試薬注入器制御装置。
- 前記PWM信号が不活性な状態にあるときに前記試薬注入器にブロック電流を流し、前記PWM信号が活性な状態にあるときに前記試薬注入器にエネイブル電流を流す少なくとも1つのスイッチング装置と、
前記PWM信号が不活性な状態にあるときに前記コンデンサの充電を許容する少なくとも1つの他のスイッチング装置と、
を有することを特徴とする請求項9記載の試薬注入器制御装置。 - 前記PWM制御モジュールは、前記電流と予め定めた所定の電流との比較に基づいて前記注入制御サイクル中に前記PWM信号のデューティサイクルを選択的に減少させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の試薬注入器制御装置。
- 注入制御サイクル中に試薬注入器を開けるためのPWM信号のデューティサイクルを100パーセントに設定し、前記注入制御サイクル中に前記試薬注入器を開けた状態に保持するために前記PWM信号のデューティサイクルを100パーセント未満のうちから選択的に設定するパルス幅変調(PWM)制御モジュールと、
前記PWM信号の前記デューティサイクルに基づいて前記試薬注入器に電流を出力する注入器ドライバモジュールと、
を具備し、
前記試薬注入器が開いて前記電流に基づいて排気装置中に試薬を注入し、
前記排気装置がエンジンから出てくる排気を受け、
前記試薬が窒素酸化物(NOx)と反応する、ことを特徴とする車両用試薬注入器制御装置。 - 前記PWM制御モジュールは、前記電流と所定の電流との比較に基づく前記注入制御サイクル中において、前記試薬注入器を開けた状態に保持するために前記PWM信号のデューティサイクルを100パーセント未満に選択的に設定することを特徴とする請求項12記載の試薬注入器制御装置。
- 前記注入器ドライバモジュールに接続された第1の端子および前記試薬注入器に接続された第2の端子を有するセンスレジスタをさらに有し、
前記PWM制御モジュールは前記センスレジスタの端子間電圧に基づいて前記電流を決定することを特徴とする請求項13記載の試薬注入器制御装置。 - 前記試薬注入器を有し、かつ前記センスレジスタの第2の端子と接地電位との間に前記試薬注入器に並列に接続されたフライバックダイオードをさらに有することを特徴とする請求項14記載の試薬注入器制御装置。
- 前記フライバックダイオードがツェナーダイオードを含むことを特徴とする請求項15記載の試薬注入器制御装置。
- 前記試薬注入器が開いている所定の時間に前記PWM信号のデューティサイクルを100パーセントに設定することを特徴とする請求項12記載の試薬注入器制御装置。
- 前記注入器ドライバモジュールは、前記PWM信号が不活性な状態にあるときに充電し、前記PWM信号が活性な状態にあるときに放電する少なくとも1つのコンデンサを含むことを特徴とする請求項12記載の試薬注入器制御装置。
- 前記注入器ドライバモジュールは、
前記PWM信号が不活性な状態にあるときに前記試薬注入器にブロック電流を流し、前記PWM信号が活性な状態にあるときに前記試薬注入器にエネイブル電流を流す少なくとも1つのスイッチング装置と、
前記PWM信号が不活性な状態にあるときに前記コンデンサの充電を許容する少なくとも1つの他のスイッチング装置と、を有することを特徴とする請求項18記載の試薬注入器制御装置。 - 排気装置に注入される試薬を受け取る試薬入口と、該排気装置はエンジンから排出される排気を受け取ること、該試薬は窒素酸化物(NOx)と反応するものであることと、
当該コイルを流れる電流に基づいて磁界を生成するコイルと、
前記磁界に基づいて軸動するピントルと、
を具備し、
前記ピントルは、
単位重量当たり少なくとも1パーセントの珪素を含むソレノイドグレード材料を含むピントルヘッドと、
前記ピントルヘッドに接続されたピントルシャフトと、
