Claims (7)
- 吸気弁をその復元力で開閉させるスプリングの駆動時点を調節し、選択された走行モードによって前記吸気弁のオープン時点を可変させることを特徴とする、スプリングが備えられた可変吸気弁。
- 前記スプリングは固定ピンの外周面に結合されるが、
前記スプリングの端に形成された突起の位置が選択された走行モードによって変動できるように前記スプリングを圧縮させる走行モード部;
選択された走行モード時、空気の負圧によって吸気弁のオープン時点を調節する本体部;を含む、請求項1に記載のスプリングが備えられた可変吸気弁。 - 前記走行モード部は、
その外周面に前記固定ピンの長手方向に垂直した方向へ複数個のねじ溝が設けられ、前記スプリングの端の一地点と結合されるものの、前記固定ピンの外周面に結合されたスプリング圧縮調節板と、
前記複数個のねじ溝とがかみ合うギアが形成された調節具をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のスプリングが備えられた可変吸気弁。 - 前記調節具には運転者が選択できる走行モードが表示され、
この走行モードに応じて前記調節具の回転時、前記スプリング圧縮調節板と前記スプリングが圧縮され、前記スプリングの端に形成された突起の位置が変動されることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のスプリングが備えられた可変吸気弁。 - 前記本体部は、
中空のハウジングから構成され、前記ハウジングの外周面には選択された走行モードによって前記スプリングの端に形成された突起が移動できるガイドと、このガイドに垂直した方向に複数個のスロットストッパが形成され、前記スロットストッパの長さは前記スプリングの圧縮長さに応じて次第に増加することを特徴とする、請求項3または請求項4に記載のスプリングが備えられた可変吸気弁。 - 前記スロットストッパの長さに比例して前記吸気弁を閉めることができる空気の負圧が増加することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のスプリングが備えられた可変吸気弁。
- 前記本体部の外周面には所定の長さのスロット溝が設けられ、このスロット溝に前記調節具の一端部が挿入されるが、前記調節具はその中心を貫く回転棒と、この回転棒の両端に位置した固定具によって支持されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のスプリングが備えられた可変吸気弁。
