Abstract
【解決手段】燃料電池10は、アノード側セパレータ14とカソード側セパレータ16との間に電解質膜・電極構造体12を挟持する。アノード側セパレータ14には、第1シール部材36が一体成形される。第1シール部材36は、ベースシール部36aと、前記ベースシール部36aから膨出成形される外側凸状シール部36b2とを有する。外側凸状シール部36b2の両側には、ベースシール部36aよりも積層方向の高さが小さな外側凹部36c2が設けられる。

Claims (2)
- 電解質膜の両側に電極を設けた電解質膜・電極構造体と、セパレータとが積層されるとともに、前記セパレータには、シール部材が設けられる燃料電池であって、
前記シール部材は、セパレータ面に沿って平面状に延在するベースシール部と、
前記ベースシール部から前記セパレータの積層方向に高さを大きくして膨出形成され、少なくとも燃料ガス、酸化剤ガス又は冷却媒体のいずれかをシールする凸状シール部と、
前記凸状シール部の両側に設けられ、前記ベースシール部よりも前記積層方向の高さが小さな凹部と、
を有すること特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記凸状シール部先端が当接するベースシール部は隣接するベースシール部より低く形成されていることを特徴とする燃料電池。
