Claims (3)
- 固体高分子電解質膜の一方の面には、アノード触媒層及びアノード拡散層を有するアノード電極が設けられ、前記固体高分子電解質膜の他方の面には、カソード触媒層及びカソード拡散層を有するカソード電極が設けられるとともに、前記アノード電極の平面寸法は、前記カソード電極の平面寸法よりも大きな寸法に設定される段差状の電解質膜・電極構造体と、
前記固体高分子電解質膜の外周を周回して設けられるとともに、内周基端部から前記カソード電極側に膨出して前記内周基端部よりも薄肉の内側膨出部を有し、前記内側膨出部には、前記電解質膜・電極構造体の外周を周回して接着剤が塗布される接着剤塗布部が設けられる樹脂枠部材と、
を備える燃料電池用樹脂枠付き電解質膜・電極構造体であって、
前記カソード拡散層の厚さは、前記アノード拡散層の厚さよりも大きな寸法に設定され、且つ、前記樹脂枠部材の前記内側膨出部における前記カソード触媒層に対向する部位の厚さは、前記カソード拡散層の厚さよりも大きな寸法に設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池用樹脂枠付き電解質膜・電極構造体。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池用樹脂枠付き電解質膜・電極構造体において、前記アノード拡散層は、前記樹脂枠部材の前記内周基端部に配置されるとともに、
前記アノード拡散層の平面は、前記樹脂枠部材のうち前記固体高分子電解質膜よりも前記内側膨出部とは反対側に位置して当該固体高分子電解質膜の他方の面に平行な平面と面一に配置されることを特徴とする燃料電池用樹脂枠付き電解質膜・電極構造体。 - 請求項1又は2記載の燃料電池用樹脂枠付き電解質膜・電極構造体において、前記カソード触媒層は、前記カソード拡散層よりも大きな平面寸法に設定され、前記カソード触媒層の外周端部は、前記カソード拡散層の外周端部よりも外方に突出して前記接着剤塗布部に配置されることを特徴とする燃料電池用樹脂枠付き電解質膜・電極構造体。
