Abstract
【解決手段】ステータ23の外周に凸部30、ハウジング24の内周に凹部31がそれぞれ円周方向の複数個所に設けられ、凸部30と凹部31が嵌合した状態でステータ23がハウジング24に取付けられる一方、ハウジング24に冷却通路34が設けられる電動機において、冷却通路34の主通路35を、ハウジング24における凸部30と凹部31によるステータ取付部分間の部分ごとに独立して設けるとともに、隣り合う主通路同士を接続する接続通路36を、ステータ取付部分から軸方向に外れた位置でステータ取付部分を横断する状態で設けた。

第1実施形態に係る電動機において、次の点は図8,9に示す従来技術と同じである。
(1) 図5〜図7は冷却通路34の構成に関する他の実施形態を示す。第1実施形態の相違点のみを説明する。なお、上下の方向性は第1実施形態と同じである。

Claims (3)
- 電動機シャフトを中心として回転するロータと、このロータの外周に配置されるステータと、上記ロータ及びステータが収容されるハウジングとから成り、上記ステータの外周に凸部、上記ハウジングの内周に凹部がそれぞれ円周方向の複数個所に設けられ、上記凸部と凹部が嵌合した状態で上記ステータがハウジングに取付けられる一方、上記ハウジングに、水等の冷媒が通される冷却通路が設けられる電動機において、上記冷却通路を構成する主通路を、上記ハウジングにおける上記凸部と凹部によるステータ取付部分間の部分ごとに独立して設けるとともに、隣り合う上記主通路同士を接続する接続通路を、上記ステータ取付部分から軸方向に外れた位置でステータ取付部分を横断する状態で設けたことを特徴とする電動機。
- 上記冷却通路全体が蛇行通路となるように、上記各主通路を、上記接続通路との接続点から軸方向に延びて端部で折り返す折り返し通路として形成したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の電動機。
- 上記主通路の折り返し部分の内周部を冷媒の流れに沿った円弧状に形成したことを特徴とする請求項2記載の電動機。
