Claims (4)
- 電解質膜の両側に電極を設ける電解質膜・電極構造体とセパレータとが積層されるとともに、一方の電極に対向する前記セパレータには、電極面に沿って一方の反応ガスを供給する第1反応ガス流路が設けられ、他方の電極に対向する前記セパレータには、電極面に沿って他方の反応ガスを供給する第2反応ガス流路が設けられる燃料電池であって、
少なくとも前記第1反応ガス流路は、発電領域に沿って互いに並列して延在する複数本の凸状部間に形成される複数本の流路溝と、
流路端部で、前記凸状部の高さを低くすることにより、複数本の前記流路溝が流路幅方向に合流する合流領域と、
前記合流領域の、前記流路溝に連結される一端とは反対の他端で連結されるとともに、該流路溝よりも溝深さが浅い複数本の連結流路溝と、
を有することを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記電解質膜・電極構造体は、外周部に樹脂製枠部材が設けられるとともに、
前記合流領域は、前記樹脂製枠部材の内周に隣接して設けられることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項2記載の燃料電池において、前記連結流路溝は、積層方向に沿って前記樹脂製枠部材に対向する位置に設けられることを特徴とする燃料電池。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池において、前記流路溝は、前記電極面に沿って波形状を有するとともに、
前記連結流路溝は、直線状を有することを特徴とする燃料電池。
