Claims (2)
- 電解質膜の両側に電極を設けた電解質膜・電極構造体とセパレータとが積層されるとともに、前記電解質膜・電極構造体の電極面に沿って反応ガスを供給する反応ガス流路と、前記反応ガスを前記セパレータの積層方向に流す反応ガス連通孔とが形成される燃料電池であって、
前記反応ガス連通孔と前記反応ガス流路とを連通するバッファ部が設けられ、
前記バッファ部は、前記反応ガス流路側に位置し、複数本のガイド流路が形成される第1バッファ領域と、
前記反応ガス連通孔側に位置し、且つ前記第1バッファ領域よりも前記積層方向に深い第2バッファ領域と、
を有し、
前記第2バッファ領域には、前記反応ガス連通孔と前記第1バッファ領域との間に、それぞれ複数個のエンボス部を有するエンボス部群が複数列に配設されるとともに、前記反応ガス連通孔側の前記エンボス部群のエンボス部配置密度は、前記第1バッファ領域側の前記エンボス部群のエンボス部配置密度よりも低く設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記電解質膜・電極構造体は、外周部に樹脂製枠部材が設けられるとともに、
前記樹脂製枠部材には、前記第1バッファ領域及び前記第2バッファ領域が形成されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
