Claims (2)
- 電解質膜の両側に一対の電極が設けられる電解質膜・電極構造体と金属セパレータとが水平方向に沿って積層されるとともに、電極面が重力方向に沿った鉛直姿勢で且つ水平方向に長尺な横長形状を有し、酸化剤ガス又は燃料ガスである反応ガスを前記電極面の長手方向に沿って流通させる反応ガス流路が設けられる燃料電池であって、
前記反応ガス流路の重力方向下端には、前記反応ガス流路から生成水を重力方向下方に排出するための排水通路が設けられるとともに、
前記排水通路は、前記金属セパレータの前記反応ガス流路側の面及び該面とは反対の面に交互に形成される凹凸形状部により構成され、
前記金属セパレータの水平方向一端下部には、前記反応ガス流路に連通し積層方向に貫通する反応ガス出口連通孔が設けられ、
前記凹凸形状部の下方には、排水用流路が連通するとともに、
前記排水用流路は、前記金属セパレータの前記長手方向に延在して前記反応ガス出口連通孔に連通することを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記電解質膜・電極構造体は、外周部に樹脂枠部材を設けるとともに、
前記排水用流路は、前記樹脂枠部材と前記金属セパレータとの間に形成されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
