Abstract
Description
図1は、本実施形態に係るエレクトロクロミック表示素子(以下「本表示装置」ともいう)1の一部断面の概略図である。図1に示すとおり、本表示素子1は、一対の基板2a、2bと、一対の基板の対向する面のそれぞれに形成される電極3a、3bと、一対の基板の間に挟持される媒体層4と、を有する。
まず、分散溶媒として1−ブタノールを用い、この分散溶媒に平均粒径50nm以下のAlドープ酸化亜鉛(AZO)ナノ粒子(Aldrich社製)を10wt%添加し、ビオロゲン化合物として1,1’−ジドデシル−4,4’−ビピリジニウムジブロマイド(以下「DDV」)を酸化亜鉛ナノ粒子の重量の1/20だけ添加し、バス型超音波で30分間分散させた後、ITOガラス上にディップ法によって塗布を行い、乾燥させて6μmの厚さの膜を得た。
本実施例では、SnO2ナノ粒子を用いた点が上記実施例1と異なるが、それ以外はほぼ実施例1と同様である。具体的に本実施例では、分散溶媒として1−ブタノールを用い、この分散溶媒に平均粒径21nm以下の酸化スズ(SnO2)ナノ粒子(Nano Tech社製)を10wt%添加し、ビオロゲン化合物としてDDVを酸化スズナノ粒子の重量の1/20だけ添加し、バス型超音波で30分間分散させた後、ITOガラス上にディップ法によって塗布を行い、乾燥させて6μmの厚さの膜を得た。
本実施例では、AlドープのないZnOナノ粒子を用いた点が上記実施例1と異なるが、それ以外はほぼ実施例1と同様である。具体的に本実施例では、分散溶媒として1−ブタノールを用い、この分散溶媒に平均粒径34nm以下の酸化亜鉛(ZnO)ナノ粒子(Nano Tech社製)を10wt%添加し、ビオロゲン化合物としてDDVを酸化スズナノ粒子の重量の1/20だけ添加し、バス型超音波で30分間分散させた後、ITOガラス上にディップ法によって塗布を行い、乾燥させて6μmの厚さの膜を得た。

- 酸化スズナノ粒子及び酸化亜鉛ナノ粒子の少なくともいずれかの導電性ナノ粒子とビオロゲン化合物とを含む溶液を調製する調整工程と、
前記溶液を基板上に塗布する塗布工程を有するエレクトロミック表示素子の製造方法。 - 前記溶液は、導電性ナノ粒子を5wt%以上30wt%以下の範囲で含む請求項1記載のエレクトロクロミック表示素子の製造方法。
- 前記ビオロゲン化合物は、前記ナノ粒子の重量を1とした場合に、0.01以上0.5以下の範囲で前記溶液に含まれている請求項1記載のエレクトロクロミック表示素子の製造方法。
