Abstract
Description
内燃機関は、摩擦を受ける多くのエレメントを含み、その結果、それらのエレメントは、機関が機能する時に大きな応力を受けるので摩耗する。
本発明の課題は、靭性値を維持しながら、耐摩耗性の増大を保証できる窒化クロムコーティングを有する内燃機関で使用される摺動するエレメントを提供することである。
本発明の課題は、内燃機関で使用される少なくとも1つのスライドする表面を備えたエレメントであって、所与の合金ベースと、気相での物理蒸着によって生じた窒化クロム硬質コーティングを備えた外表面とを含み、該コーティングが1体積%を下回る範囲の気孔率を有し且つ等軸の結晶構造を備えた、前記エレメントによって達成される。
本発明はここで、図面に表される実施態様の例を参照して更に詳細に記載される。図面は以下のことを示す。
本発明は、内燃機関で使用される少なくとも1つのスライド表面を備えたエレメントに関する。留意するべきことは、摺動するエレメント(1)が、接触を受ける機関の多様な要素を含み、その際、それらの間に摩擦が生じ得ることである。従って、本発明のコーティング(4)は、2つのエレメントのうちの1つに適用されるか又は相互作用する両方のエレメントに同時に適用され得る。
Claims (11)
- 内燃機関で使用するための少なくとも1つの摺動面を備えたエレメントであって、該エレメント(1)が、任意の金属合金のベース(2)及び物理蒸着によって生成した窒化クロムの硬質コーティング(4)の外表面(3)を含み、該コーティング(4)が1体積%未満の割合で気孔率を有し且つ等軸結晶構造を有することを特徴とする、前記エレメント。
- コーティング(4)の結晶配向が、コーティング(4)の表面に対して平行な面の比によって規定され、その際、結晶面(111)及び(200)が、結晶面に対して1.5〜100の範囲であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のエレメント。
- コーティング(4)が1500HV〜2500HVの範囲の硬度を有することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のエレメント。
- コーティング(4)が5〜60μmの範囲の厚さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載のエレメント。
- コーティング(4)の結晶配向が主に高密度の結晶面(111)によって規定されることを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載のエレメント。
- ベース材料(2)が鋳鉄であることを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載のエレメント。
- ベース材料(2)が鋼であることを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載のエレメント。
- ベース材料(2)が10〜17質量%の範囲のクロム量を備えた鋼であることを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載のエレメント。
- コーティング(4)が5%よりも高い量で酸素及び炭素の群から選択される元素を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載のエレメント。
- コーティング(4)とベース(2)との間の結合のための中間層(5)を備え、該中間層(5)がクロム、ニッケル及びコバルトの中の元素の1つを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載のエレメント。
- 蒸気相での物理蒸着が高出力インパルスマグネトロンスパッタリングによる高パルス出力によって達成されることを特徴とする、請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載のエレメント。
