Abstract

A presente invenção refere-se a um elemento (1) que trabalha sob deslizamento de um motor de combustão interna e/ou compressor que sofre atrito e que recebe um revestimento de nitreto de cromo dotado de uma morfologia equiaxial, com baixa porosidade (inferior a 1 %) e com uma orientação cristalográfica predominantemente (111), mantendo algum reticu- lado na orientação (200) por forma a melhorar a sua resistência ao desgaste e tenacidade, aumentando à vida útil do elemento (1) que trabalham sob deslizamento.
