Abstract
Description
本出願は、2011年4月21日付で出願され、出願の開示は参照により本明細書に完全に援用される、米国仮出願第61/477,886号の利益を主張する。
本出願は概して、特に使い捨て蓋等に適した、ポリマー組成物に関する。特に本出願は、ポリオレフィンと少なくとも1種の無機充填剤を有するポリマー複合材料を含む、熱成形シートを有する使い捨て蓋に関する。
Claims (25)
- 熱い飲み物の容器用の蓋の形状をした熱変形シート、該シートはポリオレフィンと少なくとも1種の無機充填剤とのポリマー複合材料を含む、を含み、
前記シートは、約0.035インチ未満の厚さを有し、少なくとも耐衝撃性ポリスチレンと同程度の熱変形温度を有する、
使い捨て蓋。 - 前記熱変形温度は少なくとも耐衝撃性ポリスチレンと同程度である、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記熱変形温度は、「ASTM D648−06 Standard Test Method for Deflection Temperature of Plastics Under Flexural Load in the Edgewise Position(2006)」に従って少なくとも約87℃である、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記無機充填剤は高アスペクト比の無機充填剤を含む、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記無機充填剤はタルク、雲母、ケイ灰石またはそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項4に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリマー複合材料は少なくとも約10重量%の前記無機充填剤を含む、請求項4に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記無機充填剤は低アスペクト比の無機充填剤を含む、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記無機充填剤は炭酸カルシウムを含む、請求項7に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリマー複合材料は少なくとも約20重量%の前記無機充填剤を含む、請求項7に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリオレフィンはポリプロピレンホモポリマー、ポリプロピレン耐衝撃性コポリマー、エチレンプロピレンランダムコポリマー、高密度ポリエチレンまたはそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリオレフィンはポリプロピレンを含み、前記無機充填剤は高アスペクト比の無機充填剤を含み、前記ポリマー複合材料は少なくとも約10重量%の前記無機充填剤を含む、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリオレフィンはポリプロピレンを含み、前記無機充填剤は低アスペクト比の無機充填剤を含み、前記ポリマー複合材料は少なくとも約20重量%の前記無機充填剤を含む、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリオレフィンは高密度ポリエチレンを含み、前記無機充填剤は高アスペクト比の無機充填剤を含み、前記ポリマー複合材料は少なくとも約20重量%の前記無機充填剤を含む、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリオレフィンは高密度ポリエチレンを含み、前記無機充填剤は低アスペクト比の無機充填剤を含み、前記ポリマー複合材料は少なくとも約40重量%の前記無機充填剤を含む、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリオレフィンはポリプロピレンを含み、前記無機充填剤は高アスペクト比の無機充填剤を含み、前記ポリマー複合材料は耐衝撃性ポリスチレンと同程度の収縮率を有する、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- ASTM D955 Standard(1996)に従い測定した場合に、前記ポリマー複合材料は約0.5%から約1.0%の収縮率を有する、請求項15に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリマー複合材料は約20重量%から約40重量%の無機充填剤を含む、請求項15に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリオレフィンは高密度ポリエチレンを含み、前記無機充填剤は高アスペクト比の無機充填剤を含み、前記ポリマー複合材料はポリプロピレンと同程度の収縮率を有する、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- ASTM D955 Standard(1996)に従い測定する場合に、前記ポリマー複合材料は約1.25%から約1.75%の収縮率を有する、請求項18に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリマー複合材料は約30重量%から約50重量%の無機充填剤を含む、請求項18に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリマー複合材料は、前記ポリオレフィンと前記少なくとも1種の無機充填剤のみから実質的になる、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリマー複合材料は着色剤、加工助剤及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される添加物を更に含む、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記熱い飲み物の容器はコーヒーカップである、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリマー複合材料は耐衝撃性ポリスチレンよりも低いカーボンフットプリントを有する、請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
- 前記ポリマー複合材料は耐衝撃性ポリスチレンよりも低い温室効果ガス排出量を有する請求項1に記載の使い捨て蓋。
