Claims (20)
- 自動車のアクセサリー駆動システムに使用するためのプーリ組立体であって、
回転軸線を有し、ねじ付き外表面と、アクセサリーの入力軸を、それと係合するように受容するための内孔を含む軸係合ハブと、
前記軸係合ハブを受容するための内孔を有し、結合用内表面と、ベルト係合用外表面を含むプーリ部材と、
前記軸係合ハブのねじ付き外表面と係合するねじ付き内表面と、該内表面と対向する総体的に切頭円錐形の外表面を有するナットと、
前記ナットをそれと共に回転するように内部に座置させる環状ブッシュと、
前記環状ブッシュの外周面の周りに配置されており、前記プーリ部材の結合用内表面と摩擦接触する結合用外表面を有する1つ又は複数のブレーキシューと、
から成り、前記ナットは、前記環状ブッシュに対して相対的に軸方向に並進移動することができ、前記環状ブッシュは、前記ナットの軸方向の第1方向の並進移動に応答して半径方向外方に拡張することができることを特徴とするプーリ組立体。
- 前記環状ブッシュは、キー溝を有し、前記ナットは、該キー溝内に受容される耳片を含む請求項1に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 前記環状ブッシュは、総体的に切頭円錐形のリングを形成する複数のパネルを含み、該各パネルは、2つの隣接するパネルからそれらとの間にスリットを画定するように分離している請求項1に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 前記各パネルの内表面には、グリースを受容するためのポケットが切り下げられている請求項3に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 前記各パネルは、ガラス繊維入りナイロンを含む請求項3に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 前記環状ブッシュは、その外表面に複数のスペーサを有しており、2つの隣り合うスペーサと、前記パネルの、該2つの隣り合うスペーサの間の部分とで、1つのブレーキシューを受容するためのスタンドを形成する請求項3に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 前記ナットが前記軸係合ハブの前記ねじ付き外表面の周りに第1方向に回転すると、該軸係合ハブを前記プーリ部材にそれと共に回転するように結合させ、該ナットが第1方向とは反対の第2方向に回転すると、該ナットと軸係合ハブが該プーリ部材とは独立して回転するように、前記ブレーキシューの結合用外表面を該プーリ部材の前記結合用内表面から脱係合させる請求項1に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 前記ナットの前記切頭円錐形外表面は、前記軸係合ハブの回転軸線に対してほぼ5°ないし45°の鋭角を有する請求項1に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 前記ブレーキシューの前記結合用内表面は、ブレーキ部材から成る請求項1に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 前記軸係合ハブにそれと共に回転するように結合されたカバーを含む請求項1に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 前記プーリ部材の内孔の環状の内表面と前記カバーの一部分との間に配設された環状シールを含み、該環状シールの内表面と該カバーの該一部分との間にシールを設定する請求項10に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 前記カバーは、前記環状シールを防護するように該環状シールを覆って張り出すプレート状の環状リングを含む請求項11に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 第1端を前記カバーに係合させ、第2端を前記ナットに係合させたねじりばねであって、該ナットを前記軸係合ハブのねじ付き外表面の周りに前記第1方向に回転させるべく付勢するねじりばねを含む請求項10に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 前記軸係合ハブが前記プーリ部材に対して相対的に回転するのを可能にするように該軸係合ハブに結合された内レースと、該プーリ部材に結合された外レースを有するベアリング組立体を含む請求項1に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 前記各ブレーキシューの前記結合用外表面は、長手断面でみて、前記ブレーキシューの内表面に非平行であり、前記プーリ部材の前記結合用内表面に対して平行である請求項1に記載のプーリ組立体。
- 自動車のアクセサリー駆動システムに使用するためのプーリ組立体を製造する方法であって、
回転軸線を有し、ねじ付き外表面と、アクセサリーの入力軸を、それと係合するように受容するための内孔を含む軸係合ハブを準備する工程と、
前記軸係合ハブを受容するための内孔を有し、結合用内表面と、ベルト係合用外表面を含むプーリ部材を準備する工程と、
前記軸係合ハブのねじ付き外表面と係合するねじ付き内表面と、該内表面と対向する総体的に切頭円錐形の外表面を有するナットを準備する工程と、
前記ナットをそれと共に回転するように内部に座置させる環状ブッシュを準備する工程と、
前記環状ブッシュの外周面の周りに配置されており、前記プーリ部材の結合用内表面と摩擦接触する結合用外表面を有する1つ又は複数のブレーキシューを準備する工程と、
該プーリ組立体が前記ハブを前記プーリ部材に係合させたり、該プーリ部材から脱係合させるべく作動ことができるように、前記ハブのねじ付き外表面のねじ山ピッチを選択し、該ブレーキシューの結合用外表面を形成するための摩擦材を選択し、前記ナットの前記切頭円錐形外表面の傾斜角を選択する工程と、
から成ることを特徴とするプーリ組立体製造方法。
- 前記ハブと前記プーリ部材との相対回転を可能にするように該ハブを該プーリ部材から脱係合させるのに要するトルクを最小限にするために、前記ねじ山ピッチ、前記摩擦材及び前記傾斜角を選択する工程を含む請求項16に記載のプーリ組立体製造方法。
- 前記ブレーキシューの前記結合用外表面と前記プーリ部材の前記結合用内表面との間の摩擦係数を選択する工程を含む請求項16に記載のプーリ組立体製造方法。
- 前記環状ブッシュを、総体的に切頭円錐形のリングを形成する複数のパネルによって形成し、該各パネルを、2つの隣接するパネルからそれらとの間にスリットを画定するように分離させて配置する請求項16に記載のプーリ組立体製造方法。
- 前記各パネルの前記内表面にグリースを保持することができるポケットを切り込み、該ポケット内にグリースを挿入するために該各パネルの前記内表面にグリースを塗布する工程を含む請求項19に記載のプーリ組立体製造方法。
