Abstract
Description

Claims (10)
- 圧縮応力下にある表面層を有するガラス物品を製造する方法において、
a. 徐冷点および該徐冷点より高い仮想温度を有する前記ガラス物品を0.5時間から4時間に及ぶ期間に亘り前記徐冷点未満の第1の温度で加熱する工程、および
b. 加熱された前記ガラス物品を前記第1の温度より低い第2の温度でイオン交換して、表面に層の深さまで圧縮応力を得る工程、
を有してなる方法。 - 前記ガラスが、アルカリアルミノケイ酸塩ガラスまたはアルカリアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスである、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記ガラスがリンをさらに含む、請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記第1の温度が、前記ガラス物品の徐冷点より約25℃から約100℃低い範囲にある、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記第1の温度が、前記徐冷点と、前記ガラス物品の1017ポアズ温度との間である、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記圧縮応力が少なくとも800MPaであり、前記ガラス物品をイオン交換する工程が、少なくとも約90質量%のKNO3および約10質量%未満のNaNO3を含む溶融塩浴中で約5時間未満に亘り約410℃超の温度で該ガラス物品をイオン交換する工程を含む、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記ガラス物品をダウンドローする工程をさらに含む、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 少なくとも800MPaの圧縮応力下にある表面を有するガラス物品であって、イオン交換されており、徐冷点および該徐冷点より高い仮想温度を有するガラス物品。
- 前記ガラス物品が、徐冷点および該徐冷点より高い仮想温度を有し、該ガラス物品が、該ガラス物品の表面から層の深さまで延在する領域を有し、該領域が、少なくとも800MPaの圧縮応力下にあり、前記ガラス物品の残りの構造とは異なる構造を有する、請求項8記載のガラス物品。
- 前記ガラスが、アルカリアルミノケイ酸塩ガラスまたはアルカリアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスである、請求項8または9記載のガラス物品。
