Abstract
【解決手段】光ファイバ9を保持するフェルール11を、フェルール11が挿入される保持穴320が形成された保持部材3に固定するフェルール固定部材5は、フェルール11の外周側に配置されたコイルばね6をその径方向に挟んで互いに向かい合う第1板部5e及び第2板部5fと、フェルール11がコイルばね6の復元力によって保持穴320の奥側に押し付けられるようにコイルばね6を押圧するばね押圧部5bと、保持部材3に形成された係止部33に係止される爪部5dと、第2の板部5fと爪部5dとの間に延在する一対の腕部5gとを備え、爪部5dは、第1板部5e及び第2板部5fを互いに接近させることにより係止部33との係止状態が解除される。

Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態に係るフェルール固定部材5、及びフェルール固定部材5によって固定されるフェルール11と光サブアセンブリ12とを示す全体構成図である。図2は、フェルール11の構成例を示す斜視図である。図3は、光サブアセンブリ12の構成例を示す。
光サブアセンブリ12は、図3に示すように、前述の受光素子を有する光モジュール2と、フェルール11を保持するフェルール保持部32を有する保持部材3との組み合わせによって構成されている。光モジュール2は、受光素子を収容するステム21及びレンズキャップ22を有している。ステム21は、レンズキャップ22と共にCANパッケージを構成している。ステム21は、複数(本実施の形態では4つであり、図3ではそのうち3つが表れている)のリードピン210によって、光サブアセンブリ12が搭載される図略の回路基板と電気的に接続される。本実施の形態では、光ファイバ9から出射された光はレンズ222で集光されて受光素子に入射し、受光素子で光信号から電気信号に変換される。この電気信号は、複数のリードピン210を介して回路基板上に搭載された他の電子部品に電気信号が伝送される。
図4は、本発明の実施の形態に係るフェルール固定部材5の構成例を示す。

Claims (6)
- 光ファイバを保持するフェルールを、前記フェルールが挿入される保持穴が形成された保持部材に固定するフェルール固定部材であって、
前記フェルールの外周側に配置された弾性部材をその径方向に挟んで互いに向かい合う第1及び第2の板部と、
前記フェルールが前記弾性部材の復元力によって前記保持穴の奥側に押し付けられるように前記弾性部材を押圧する押圧部と、
前記保持部材に形成された係止部に係止される被係止部と、
前記第2の板部と前記被係止部との間に延在する延在部とを備え、
前記被係止部は、前記第1及び第2の板部を互いに接近させることにより前記係止部との係止状態が解除される
フェルール固定部材。 - 前記押圧部は、前記フェルールを挿通させる挿通孔を有し、かつ前記フェルールの長手方向における前記第1及び第2の板部の前記保持穴とは反対側の端部の間を連結するように形成されている、
請求項1に記載のフェルール固定部材。 - 前記保持部材の少なくとも一部を収容する筒部をさらに備え、
前記第1の板部は、前記筒部の一方の端部と前記押圧部との間に形成された、
請求項2に記載のフェルール固定部材。 - 前記延在部は、前記第2の板部における前記押圧部とは反対側の端部から前記筒部の他方の端部側に延出され、その延在方向が前記フェルールの中心軸に平行な方向に対して前記第1の板部側に傾斜している、
請求項3に記載のフェルール固定部材。 - 前記延在部は、前記筒部を挟む一対の腕部からなり、前記被係止部は、前記一対の腕部の端部同士を連結する、
請求項3又は4に記載のフェルール固定部材。 - 請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載のフェルール固定部材と、
前記弾性部材とを備え、
前記フェルール固定部材の前記被係止部が前記保持部材の前記係止部に係止される際に前記弾性部材が前記フェルールの長手方向に沿って圧縮され、
前記圧縮された前記弾性部材の復元力によって前記フェルールが前記保持部材に保持される、
