これらの保護フィルムに反射防止機能や防眩機能を付与することで大幅なコスト削減、表示装置の薄手化が可能となる。
本発明において使用する粒子としては、例えば、金属原子Na、K、Mg、Ca、Ba、Al、Zn、Fe、Cu、Ti、Sn、In、W、Y、Sb、Mn、Ga、V、Nb、Ta、Ag、Si、B、Bi、Mo、Ce、Cd、Be、Pb、EuおよびNi、好ましくは、Si、Na、K、Ca、Mgから構成される無機粒子が挙げられる。また、二種類の金属を含む無機粒子を用いてもよく、特に好ましい無機粒子としては、二酸化ケイ素(SiO2)、アルカリ金属フッ化物(NaF,KFなど)、アルカリ土類金属フッ化物(CaF2、MgF2など)である。具体的には、コロイダルシリカが挙げられる。
ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート(PETA;固形分の濃度100%)にイソプロピルアルコール(IPA)を用いて固形分濃度50%に希釈した。また光重合開始剤としてIrgacure184をPETAに対して5wt%加え、ハードコート層形成用塗液を調製した。
フェニル基修飾コロイダルシリカのトルエン分散液(PL−1−Tol フェニル基修飾、シリカ濃度40%、扶桑化学工業社製)を固形分中比率で28.5%、中空微粒子のメチルエチルケトン分散液(平均粒子径50nm、固形分20%、日揮触媒化成社製)を66.5%とフェニル基修飾シリカ微粒子と中空微粒子の割合が3:7になるように混合し、ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート(PETA;固形分の濃度100%)を5%、光重合開始剤としてIrgacure907(チバ・スペシャリティ・ケミカルズ社製)を固形分比率で5%添加し、全体の固形分が4wt%になるように、酢酸−n−ブチルで希釈した。
フェニル基修飾コロイダルシリカのトルエン分散液(PL−1−Tol フェニル基修飾、シリカ濃度40%、扶桑化学工業社製)を固形分中比率で48.5%、中空微粒子のメチルエチルケトン分散液(平均粒子径50nm、固形分20%、日揮触媒化成社製)を48.5%とフェニル基修飾シリカと中空微粒子の割合が5:5になるように混合する以外は、低屈折率層形成用塗液の調製1と同様に低屈折率層形成用塗液2を調製した。
フェニル基修飾コロイダルシリカのトルエン分散液(PL−1−Tol フェニル基修飾、シリカ濃度40%、扶桑化学工業社製)を固形分中比率で27%、中空微粒子のメチルエチルケトン分散液(平均粒子径50nm、固形分20%、日揮触媒化成社製)を63%とフェニル基修飾シリカと中空微粒子の割合が3:7になるように混合し、ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート(PETA;固形分の濃度100%)を10%添加する以外は、低屈折率層形成用塗液の調製1と同様に低屈折率層形成用塗液3を調製した。
フェニル基修飾コロイダルシリカのトルエン分散液(PL−1−Tol フェニル基修飾、シリカ濃度40%、扶桑化学工業社製)を固形分中比率で45%、中空微粒子のメチルエチルケトン分散液(平均粒子径50nm、固形分20%、日揮触媒化成社製)を45%とフェニル基修飾シリカと中空微粒子の割合が5:5になるように混合する以外は、低屈折率層形成用塗液の調製3と同様に低屈折率層形成用塗液4を調製した。
フェニル基修飾コロイダルシリカのトルエン分散液(PL−1−Tol フェニル基修飾、シリカ濃度40%、扶桑化学工業社製)を固形分中比率で25.5%、中空微粒子のメチルエチルケトン分散液(平均粒子径50nm、固形分20%、日揮触媒化成社製)を59.5%とフェニル基修飾シリカと中空微粒子の割合が3:7になるように混合し、ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート(PETA;固形分の濃度100%)を15%添加する以外は、低屈折率層形成用塗液の調製1と同様に低屈折率層形成用塗液5を調製した。
中空微粒子のメチルエチルケトン分散液(平均粒子径50nm、固形分20%、日揮触媒化成社製)を固形分中95%添加する以外は、低屈折率層形成用塗液の調製1と同様に低屈折率層形成用塗液6を調製した。
中空微粒子のメチルエチルケトン分散液(平均粒子径50nm、固形分20%、日揮触媒化成社製)を固形分中90%とペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート(PETA;固形分の濃度100%)を固形分中10%添加する以外は、低屈折率層形成用塗液の調製1と同様に低屈折率層形成用塗液7を調製した。
中空微粒子のメチルエチルケトン分散液(平均粒子径50nm、固形分20%、日揮触媒化成社製)を固形分中85%とペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート(PETA;固形分の濃度100%)を固形分中15%添加する以外は、低屈折率層形成用塗液の調製1と同様に低屈折率層形成用塗液7を調製した。
フェニル基修飾コロイダルシリカのトルエン分散液(PL−1−Tol フェニル基修飾、シリカ濃度40%、扶桑化学工業社製)を固形分中比率で37.5%、中空微粒子のメチルエチルケトン分散液(平均粒子径50nm、固形分20%、日揮触媒化成社製)を37.5%とフェニル基修飾シリカと中空微粒子の割合が5:5になるように混合し、ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート(PETA;固形分の濃度100%)を25%添加する以外は、低屈折率層形成用塗液の調製1と同様に低屈折率層形成用塗液8を調製した。
フェニル基修飾コロイダルシリカのトルエン分散液(PL−1−Tol フェニル基修飾、シリカ濃度40%、扶桑化学工業社製)を固形分中比率で27.0%、中空微粒子のメチルエチルケトン分散液(平均粒子径50nm、固形分20%、日揮触媒化成社製)を63.0%とフェニル基修飾シリカと中空微粒子の割合が3:7になるように混合し、ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート(PETA;固形分の濃度100%)を10%添加する以外は、低屈折率層形成用塗液の調製1と同様に低屈折率層形成用塗液9を調製した。
(ハードコート層の形成)
透明基材としてトリアセチルセルロースフィルム(TACフィルム)(厚さ:80μm)を用いた。前記ハードコート形成用塗液をマイクログラビア法を用いてTACフィルム上に形成されるハードコート層の膜厚が6μmとなるように塗布し塗膜を形成し、オーブンを通過させることにより塗膜を乾燥させ、その後、窒素パージ下で紫外線照射をおこない。ハードコート層を形成した。
(低屈折率層の形成)
得られたハードコート層を備える透明基材のハードコート層上に、マイクログラビア法を用いて前記低屈折率層形成用塗液1を塗布し、乾燥、窒素パージ下で紫外線照射して低屈折率層を形成し、反射防止フィルムを製造した。
低屈折率層形成用塗液1の代わりに低屈折率層形成用塗液2〜5を塗布する以外は同様にして、各反射防止フィルムを製造した。
低屈折率層形成用塗液1の代わりに低屈折率層形成用塗液6〜10を塗布する以外は同様にして、各反射防止フィルムを製造した。
得られた反射防止フィルムの低屈折率層形成面と反対側の面を黒色艶消しスプレーにより黒色に塗布した。塗布後、自動分光光度計(日立製作所社製、U−4100)を用い、光源としてC光源を用い、光源及び受光器の入出射角を反射防止フィルム表面に対して垂直方向から5°に設定し、2°視野の条件下で、正反射方向の分光反射率を測定し、視感平均反射率(Y)を算出した。
実施例1〜5、比較例1〜5で得られた反射防止フィルムを、ラビングテスターを用いて以下の条件で低屈折率層表面のこすりテストをおこなった。
(評価環境条件)
25℃、50%RH
(こすり材)
試料と接触するテスターのこすり先端部(1cm×1cm)に、スチールウールを巻いて、動かないようバンド固定した低屈折率層表面をこするためのこすり材を用意した。
(移動距離、こすり速度、荷重先端部接触面積、こすり回数)
移動距離:片道13 cm、こすり速度:13cm/秒、荷重:200g/cm2
先端部接触面積:1cm×1cm、こすり回数:10往復
二重丸印〔◎〕:全く傷がない。
丸 印〔○〕:10本以下の傷がある。
三角 印〔△〕:11本以上20本以下の傷がある。
バツ 印〔×〕:20本以上の傷がある。

Claims (6)
- 中空微粒子とフェニル基修飾コロイダルシリカとアクリロイル基またはメタクリロイル基を持つ2官能以上の電離放射線硬化型材料と光重合開始剤を含有することを特徴とする低屈折率樹脂組成物。
- 前記中空微粒子とフェニル基修飾コロイダルシリカが重量比99:1〜30:70の割合で含まれることを特徴とする請求項1記載の低屈折率樹脂組成物。
- 前記電離放射線硬化型材料を固形分中5wt%以上20wt%以下用いることを特徴とする請求項1及び2記載の低屈折率樹脂組成物。
- 前記フェニル基修飾コロイダルシリカの粒子径が10nm以上70nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3記載の低屈折率樹脂組成物。
- 前記中空微粒子の粒子径が5nm以上70nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4記載の低屈折率樹脂組成物。
- 透明基材の少なくとも一方の面に、ハードコート層が形成され、その上に前記請求項1乃至5記載の低屈折率組成物が積層されたことを特徴とする反射防止フィルム。
