Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の液晶表示装置は、液晶パネル、液晶パネルの2つの面に各々配置された第1光学補償構造物および第2光学補償構造物を含み、第2光学補償構造物は偏光膜層、補償膜層および2軸膜層を含み、偏光膜層は補償膜層と2軸膜層との間に配置され、2軸膜層は偏光膜層と液晶パネルとの間に配置される。本発明は光学補償構造物内の2軸膜層の提供を通じて、液晶パネルの斜め方向に生じる色ずれを効果的に是正し、製品の品質を向上することができる。

Description
上述の目的を達成するために、本発明の実施形態は以下の技術的解決法を用いる。
本発明の一つの局面によれば、液晶表示装置は液晶パネル、液晶パネルの2つの面に各々配置された第1光学補償構造物および第2光学補償構造物を含み、第2光学補償構造物は偏光膜層、補償膜層および2軸膜層を含み、偏光膜層は補償膜層と2軸膜層との間に配置され、2軸膜層は偏光膜層と液晶パネルとの間に配置される。
第1光学補償構造物を得るために、互いに反対側に配置される第1補償膜層と第2補償膜層との間に第1偏光膜層を形成する段階、
第2光学補償構造物を得るために、互いに反対側に配置される補償膜層と2軸膜層との間に偏光膜層を形成する段階、
2軸膜層が偏光膜層と液晶パネルとの間に配置されるように第1光学補償構造物と第2光学補償構造物を各々液晶パネルの2つの面に配置する段階、
を含む。
2軸膜層の面内方向位相差Reは200nmから300nmの範囲であってよく、2軸膜層の厚み方向の位相差Rthは100nmから150nmの範囲であってよい。
それに対応して、2軸膜層の反対側の第1光学補償構造物の第2補償膜層の面内方向位相差Re’は0nmから4nmの範囲であってよく、第2補償膜層の厚み方向の位相差Rth’は0nmから10nmの範囲であってよい。
例えば、実際の使用の間、2軸膜層の面内方向位相差Reは274nmであってよく、2軸膜層の厚み方向位相差Rthは138nmであってよい。それに対応して、第2補償膜層の面内方向位相差Re’および厚み方向位相差Rth’はどちらも0nmであってよい。
本発明の実施形態において、面内方向位相差Reは、膜面内の位相遅延値を示し、厚み方向位相差Rthは膜面に垂直な方向における位相遅延値を示す。具体的には、Re=(nx−ny)×d、Rth=[(nx+ny)/2−nz]×dであり、ここでnxは膜面内の遅軸に沿った屈折率であり、nyは膜面内の速軸に沿った屈折率であり、nzは膜深さに沿った屈折率であり、dは単位nmでの膜厚みである。2軸膜層製造の間、2軸膜層製造のための材料は上記標準に従って選択され得る。

Claims (14)
- 液晶パネル、液晶パネルの2つの面に各々配置された第1光学補償構造物および第2光学補償構造物を含み、第2光学補償構造物は偏光膜層、補償膜層および2軸膜層を含み、 偏光膜層は補償膜層と2軸膜層との間に配置され、
2軸膜層は偏光膜層と液晶パネルとの間に配置される、
液晶表示装置。 - 第1光学補償構造物は第1補償膜層、第2補償膜層、および第1補償膜層と第2補償膜層との間に配置される第1偏光膜層を含み、第2補償膜層は第1偏光膜層と液晶パネルとの間に配置される、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 2軸膜層の面内方向位相差が200nmから300nmの範囲であり、2軸膜層の厚み方向の位相差が100nmから150nmの範囲である、請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 2軸膜層の面内方向位相差は274nmであり、2軸膜層の厚み方向位相差は138nmである、請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 第2補償膜層の面内方向位相差が0nmから4nmの範囲であり、第2補償膜層の厚み方向の位相差が0nmから10nmの範囲である、請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 第2補償膜層の面内方向位相差および厚み方向位相差がどちらも0nmである、請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 第1偏光膜層および第2偏光膜層のうち少なくとも1つがポリビニルアルコール薄膜であり、第1補償膜層、第2補償膜層、および第3補償膜層のうち少なくとも1つが三酢酸セルロースである、請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 第1光学補償構造物を得るために、互いに反対側に配置される第1補償膜層と第2補償膜層との間に第1偏光膜層を形成する段階、
第2光学補償構造物を得るために、互いに反対側に配置される補償膜層と2軸膜層との間に偏光膜層を形成する段階、
2軸膜層が偏光膜層と液晶パネルとの間に位置するように第1光学補償構造物と第2光学補償構造物とを各々液晶パネルの2つの面に配置する段階、
を含む液晶表示装置の製造方法。 - 第2補償膜層が第1偏光膜層と液晶パネルとの間に位置するように第1光学補償構造を配置する段階をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 2軸膜層の面内方向位相差が200nmから300nmの範囲であり、
2軸膜層の厚み方向の位相差が100nmから150nmの範囲である、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 2軸膜層の面内方向位相差は274nmであり、2軸膜層の厚み方向位相差は138nmである、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 第2補償膜層の面内方向位相差が0nmから4nmの範囲であり、
第2補償膜層の厚み方向の位相差が0nmから10nmの範囲である、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 第2補償膜層の面内方向位相差および厚み方向位相差がどちらも0nmである、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 第1偏光膜層および第2偏光膜層のうち少なくとも1つがポリビニルアルコール薄膜であり、第1補償膜層、第2補償膜層、および第3補償膜層のうち少なくとも1つが三酢酸セルロース薄膜である、請求項12に記載の方法。
