Claims (5)
- 縁端部強化物品を作製する方法であって、第1の縁端強度を有する物品の縁端部を磁性流体研磨法によって研磨する工程を有して成り、該研磨する工程の後、前記物品が第2の縁端強度を有し、該第2の縁端強度が前記第1の縁端強度より高いことを特徴とする方法。
- 前記研磨する工程の前に、前記物品の前記縁端部を切断する工程及び、該切断する工程の後に、機械研削及び機械研磨から選択される複数の工程段階から成る、前記物品の前記縁端部の形状及び/又は質感を修正する工程を有して成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記物品の縁端部を研磨する工程が、磁性研磨流体に磁界を加えて該磁性研磨流体を硬化させ、該硬化した磁性研磨流体に前記縁端部を接触させ、該縁端部と該硬化した磁性研磨流体との間に相対運動を生じさせることを含んで成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- pH≦5のエッチング剤を含む液体溶媒と、
前記液体溶媒中に浮遊する磁性粒子と、
前記液体溶媒中に浮遊する砥粒と
を有して成ることを特徴とする磁性研磨流体。 - pH≧10のエッチング剤を含む液体溶媒と、
前記液体溶媒中に浮遊する磁性粒子と、
前記液体溶媒中に浮遊する砥粒と
を有して成ることを特徴とする磁性研磨流体。
