Claims (10)
- 3次元(3D)ガラス物品を作製する方法において、
(a)2次元(2D)ガラス片のエッジに少なくとも1つのマーカーを形成するステップ、
(b)前記2Dガラス片を前記3Dガラス物品に熱再成形するステップであって、このとき前記2Dガラス片の前記エッジに形成された前記少なくとも1つのマーカーが、前記3Dガラス物品のエッジへと引き継がれるステップ、
(c)前記3Dガラス物品の前記エッジの前記少なくとも1つのマーカーを用いて、前記3Dガラス物品を支持部材上で位置合わせするステップ、および、
(d)前記3Dガラス物品の前記エッジを、最終的な形状および寸法へと仕上げるステップ、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - ステップ(a)の前記少なくとも1つのマーカーが切込みであり、かつステップ(d)が、前記支持部材上の位置合わせピンを該切込みと接触させるステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- ステップ(c)の前に前記3Dガラス物品を徐冷するステップ、および、ステップ(d)の後に前記3Dガラス物品にイオン交換プロセスを施すステップ、のうちの少なくとも一方のステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- ステップ(b)で成形された前記3Dガラス物品が、2つの対向する湾曲面を有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- ステップ(d)の前に前記湾曲面の一方を平坦化して、平面と湾曲面とを有する3Dガラス物品を成形するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。
- ステップ(d)が、前記3Dガラス物品内に1以上の機構を形成するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- ステップ(d)が、前記3Dガラス物品の前記エッジを、研削するステップ、ラップ仕上げするステップ、および研磨するステップ、のうちの少なくとも1つのステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- ステップ(b)が、前記2Dガラス片のエッジに形成された前記少なくとも1つのマーカーを用いて、前記2Dガラス片をモールド上で位置合わせするステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記2Dガラス片を前記モールド上で位置合わせするステップが、前記2Dガラス片のエッジに形成された前記少なくとも1つのマーカーに、前記モールド上の位置合わせピンを接触させるステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記2Dガラス片のエッジに形成された前記少なくとも1つのマーカーが切込みであり、かつ該切込みが前記モールド上の前記位置合わせピンの半径よりも大きい曲率半径を有することを特徴とする請求項9記載の方法。
