Claims (10)
- 合成樹脂管どうしを融着接合する電気融着継手であって、
前記合成樹脂管を受容する受口を有する継手本体、
前記受口の内面に埋設される電熱線、
前記継手本体の外面に突出して設けられるかつ前記電熱線に通電するための電源接続端子、および
前記継手本体から軸方向外側に延び、その先端部が前記合成樹脂管の外面上に取り付けられて、前記合成樹脂管の融着接合時の抜けを防止する仮固定部を備える、電気融着継手。 - 前記仮固定部は、
前記合成樹脂管の外面上に摺動しないように取り付けられる取付部、および
前記取付部と前記継手本体とを連結する連結部を含む、請求項1記載の電気融着継手。 - 前記連結部は、曲げ変形可能に前記取付部と前記継手本体とを連結する、請求項2記載の電気融着継手。
- 前記連結部は、弾性材によって形成される、請求項2または3記載の電気融着継手。
- 前記取付部は、帯状に形成され、自身を外側から締め付ける締め付け手段を有する、請求項2ないし4のいずれかに記載の電気融着継手。
- 前記取付部は、帯状に形成され、自身の端部どうしを接離可能に接続する接続手段を有する、請求項2ないし5のいずれかに記載の電気融着継手。
- 前記仮固定部は、前記連結部の一方端部に設けられかつ前記継手本体に係止される係止部をさらに含み、前記継手本体に対して着脱自在に設けられる、請求項2ないし6のいずれかに記載の電気融着継手。
- 前記係止部は、前記電源接続端子に係止される、請求項7記載の電気融着継手。
- 請求項7または8記載の電気融着継手を用いて合成樹脂管どうしを融着接合する接合方法であって、
(a)合成樹脂管を継手本体の受口に挿入するステップ、
(b)前記ステップ(a)で受口に挿入した合成樹脂管と前記継手本体とを仮固定部によって仮固定するステップ、
(c)前記ステップ(b)で継手本体と合成樹脂管とを仮固定した後、前記受口の内面と前記合成樹脂管の外面とを溶融して、電気融着継手と合成樹脂管とを融着接合するステップ、
(d)前記ステップ(c)で電気融着継手と合成樹脂管とを融着接合した後、前記仮固定部を前記継手本体および前記合成樹脂管から取り外すステップ、および
(e)前記ステップ(d)で継手本体および合成樹脂管から取り外した仮固定部を、別の電気融着継手の継手本体に取り付けて、その継手本体と別の合成樹脂管とを仮固定するために利用するステップを含む、接合方法。 - 請求項1ないし8のいずれかに記載の電気融着継手、および
前記電気融着継手の受口に挿入され、その外面に仮固定部が取り付けられて電気融着時の抜けが防止された合成樹脂管を備える、電気融着継手と合成樹脂管との接合構造。
