Abstract
【解決手段】電池3と、充電設備2から供給される電力により電池3を充電する充電器4と、充電器4の動作を制御する充電ECU5と、充電設備2と通信を行う通信機19と、電池3の電圧を検出する電池監視セルバランス回路6と、イグニッション信号IGがローレベルであって充電ECU5が停止しているとき、電池監視セルバランス回路6により検出される電圧が閾値Vth以下になると、起動信号Scwをハイレベルにする電池ECU7とを備える電動車両1において、充電ECU5は、起動信号Scwがハイレベルになると、自己起動して電動車両1へ電力を供給してほしい旨を示す起動信号Secwを通信機19により充電設備2へ送信させるとともに、充電器4の動作制御を開始する。

Description
前記電動車両は、電池と、前記充電設備から供給される電力により前記電池を充電する充電器と、前記充電器の動作を制御する充電制御手段と、前記充電設備と通信を行う通信手段と、前記電池の電圧を検出する電圧検出手段と、前記充電制御手段が停止しているとき、前記電圧検出手段により検出される電圧が閾値以下になると、起動信号を出力する起動制御手段とを備える。
図1に示す電池監視協調充電システムは、電動車両1と充電設備2とが協調して電動車両1に搭載される電池3を監視するとともに、その電池3を充電する。なお、電動車両1は、例えば、エンジンとモータを併用するハイブリッド車、プラグインハイブリッド車、電気自動車、又はフォークリフトとする。また、充電設備2は、例えば、商業施設などに設置される充電スタンドや住宅などに設置される家庭用充電器などとする。
電池セル16−1〜16−nは、互いに直列接続されている。なお、電池セルの個数nは、例えば、数10〜数100とする。また、電池3は、リレー17がオンのとき、そのリレー17を介して直流の電力をDC/DCコンバータ回路8やインバータ回路10に供給するものとする。
AC/DCコンバータ回路18は、充電ケーブルを介して充電設備2から供給される交流の電力を直流の電力に変換し、その直流の電力により電池3を充電する。
電池監視セルバランス回路6は、電池セル16−1〜16−nのそれぞれの電圧V1〜Vnを検出する。また、電池監視セルバランス回路6は、電圧V1〜Vnを互いに均等化させる(以下、セルバランスという)。
蓄電池9は、例えば、鉛蓄電池であり、電動車両1に搭載されるエアーコンディショナーシステムやカーナビゲーションシステムなどの各種電装機器に電力を供給する。
インバータECU11は、例えば、マイクロコンピュータやCPUなどで構成され、CAN通信によりエネマネECU15から送られてくるモータ12の所望な回転数やトルクを示す信号に基づいて、インバータ回路10の動作を制御する。
モータECU13は、例えば、マイクロコンピュータやメモリなどで構成され、モータ12の回転数などを示す信号をCAN通信によりエネマネECU15などに送る。
例えば、制御回路22は、電動車両1と充電設備2とが互いに充電ケーブルでつながれ、その充電ケーブルに流れるパイロット信号が電動車両1の制御により充電準備完了を示すと、リレー21をオンして、商用電源20から供給される交流の電力を充電ケーブルを介して電動車両1に供給する。また、制御回路22は、パイロット信号が電動車両1の制御により充電終了を示すと、リレー21をオフして、電動車両1への電力供給を停止する。
電圧センサ24−1は、電池セル16−1の正極端子及び負極端子に接続され、電圧センサ24−2は、電池セル16−2の正極端子及び負極端子に接続され、電圧センサ24−3は、電池セル16−3の正極端子及び負極端子に接続され、・・・、電圧センサ24−nは、電池セル16−nの正極端子及び負極端子に接続されている。そして、電圧センサ24−1〜24−nは、それぞれ、対応する電池セル16−1〜16−nの電圧V1〜Vnを検出する。
例えば、電池ECU7は、セルバランス時、電圧センサ24−1〜24−nにより検出される電圧V1〜Vnを互いに比較して、最も低い電圧(以下、電圧Vmin)を見つけ、電圧V1〜Vnが全て電圧Vminになるように、制御信号S1〜SnによりスイッチSW−1〜SW−nのオン、オフを制御する。すなわち、電池ECU7は、電池セル16−1の電圧V1が電圧Vminよりも高ければ、スイッチSW−1を繰り返しオン、オフさせることで電池セル16−1を放電させ、電池セル16−1の電圧V1を電圧Vminまで低下させる。このとき、電池セル16−1から放電されるエネルギーは、抵抗R1において消費される。そして、電池セル16−1〜16−nに対してそれぞれ上記動作を行うことで電池セル16−1〜16−nの電圧V1〜Vnをそれぞれに電圧Vminに均等化することができる。
まず、電池ECU7は、充電ECU5が停止すると(S1がYes)、所定時間t1(例えば、30分〜1時間程度)経過後(S2がYes)、セルバランスを開始させる(S3)。例えば、電池ECU7は、図4に示すように、イグニッション信号IGがハイレベルからローレベルになると、所定時間t1経過後に、セルバランスを開始させる。
図5に示す電池監視セルバランス回路6は、電圧センサ24−1〜24−nと、トランスT1〜Tnと、スイッチSWa−1〜SWa−nと、スイッチSWb−1〜SWb−nとを備える。なお、スイッチSWa−1及びスイッチSWb−1は、同時にオン、オフするものとする。他のスイッチSWa−2〜SWa−n及びスイッチSWb−2〜SWb−nについても同様である。

Claims (6)
- 電動車両と、充電設備とを備える電池監視協調充電システムであって、
前記電動車両は、
電池と、
前記充電設備から供給される電力により前記電池を充電する充電器と、
前記充電器の動作を制御する充電制御手段と、
前記充電設備と通信を行う通信手段と、
前記電池の電圧を検出する電圧検出手段と、
前記充電制御手段が停止しているとき、前記電圧検出手段により検出される電圧が閾値以下になると、起動信号を出力する起動制御手段と、
を備え、
前記充電制御手段は、前記起動制御手段から起動信号が出力されると、自己起動して前記電動車両へ電力を供給してほしい旨を示す信号を前記通信手段により前記充電設備へ送信させるとともに、前記充電器の動作制御を開始する
ことを特徴とする電池監視協調充電システム。 - 請求項1に記載の電池監視協調充電システムであって、
前記電池は、互いに直列接続される複数の電池セルからなり、
前記電圧検出手段は、前記複数の電池セルの各電圧を検出し、
前記起動制御手段は、前記充電制御手段が停止しているとき、前記電圧検出手段により検出される各電圧の何れかの電圧が閾値以下になると、起動信号を出力する
ことを特徴とする電池監視協調充電システム。 - 請求項2に記載の電池監視協調充電システムであって、
前記電動車両は、前記複数の電池セルのそれぞれの電圧を互いに均等化するセルバランス手段を備える
ことを特徴とする電池監視協調充電システム。 - 電池と、
充電設備から供給される電力により前記電池を充電する充電器と、
前記充電器の動作を制御する充電制御手段と、
前記充電設備と通信を行う通信手段と、
前記電池の電圧を検出する電圧検出手段と、
前記充電制御手段が停止しているとき、前記電圧検出手段により検出される電圧が閾値以下になると、起動信号を出力する起動制御手段と、
を備え、
前記充電制御手段は、前記起動制御手段から起動信号が出力されると、自己起動して当該電動車両へ電力を供給してほしい旨を示す信号を前記通信手段により前記充電設備へ送信させるとともに、前記充電器の動作制御を開始する
ことを特徴とする電動車両。 - 請求項4に記載の電動車両であって、
前記電池は、互いに直列接続される複数の電池セルからなり、
前記電圧検出手段は、前記複数の電池セルの各電圧を検出し、
前記起動制御手段は、前記充電制御手段が停止しているとき、前記電圧検出手段により検出される各電圧の何れかの電圧が閾値以下になると、起動信号を出力する
ことを特徴とする電動車両。 - 請求項5に記載の電動車両であって、
前記複数の電池セルのそれぞれの電圧を互いに均等化するセルバランス手段を備える
ことを特徴とする電動車両。
