Claims (20)
- TVバンド帯域占有情報を収集するピアTVバンド検知エンジンと、
無線アクセスネットワーク内の基地局およびTVバンド装置から位置特定情報を収集するピア位置特定エンジンと、
ホワイトスペースデータベースサーバへの通信リンクと、前記ピアTVバンド検知エンジン、前記ピア位置特定エンジン、および前記ホワイトスペースデータベースから受信された帯域占有情報を処理し、少なくとも1つの基地局、および前記少なくとも1つの基地局に関連付けられたTVバンド装置にホワイトスペース帯域を割り当てるプロセッサと、を有するピア帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラと、を備える、
無線アクセスネットワークのピアツーピアコントロールネットワーク。 - 前記基地局がアクセスポイント(AP)である、請求項1に記載のピアツーピアコントロールネットワーク。
- 前記帯域マネジャが前記APに常駐する、請求項1に記載のピアツーピアコントロールネットワーク。
- 前記帯域マネジャが、複数の前記APおよびそれぞれの前記APに関連付けられた全ての前記TVバンド装置にサービスを提供するスタンドアロン装置である、請求項3に記載のピアツーピアコントロールネットワーク。
- 前記帯域マネジャが、複数の前記APの間に機能的に分散される、請求項3に記載のピアツーピアコントロールネットワーク。
- 前記基地局がベース送受信機ステーション(BTS)である、請求項1に記載のピアツーピアコントロールネットワーク。
- 前記帯域マネジャが前記BTSに常駐する、請求項6に記載のピアツーピアコントロールネットワーク。
- 前記帯域マネジャが、複数のBTSおよびそれぞれの前記BTSに関連付けられた全ての前記TVバンド装置にサービスを提供するスタンドアロン装置である、請求項5に記載のピアツーピアコントロールネットワーク。
- 前記帯域マネジャが複数の前記BTSの間に機能的に分散される、請求項5に記載のピアツーピアコントロールネットワーク。
- ホワイトスペースデータベースサーバへの通信リンクをそれぞれ有するピア帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラと、ピアTVバンド検知エンジン、ピア位置特定エンジン、および前記ホワイトスペースデータベースから受信されたTVバンド帯域占有情報を処理し、前記TVバンド帯域占有情報に基づき、TVバンドホワイトスペース帯域を、基地局、および前記基地局に関連付けられたTVバンド装置に割り当てるプロセッサと、を備えるピアツーピアコントロールネットワークとともに、リモート無線アクセスネットワークを提供することを含む、
リモート無線アクセスネットワークの基地局によるTVバンドホワイトスペース帯域使用を制御する方法。 - 前記ピア帯域マネジャが前記ホワイトスペースデータベースにより前記TVバンド帯域占有情報をプッシュされ、かつ変更があったピア帯域マネジャによりTVバンド帯域使用の変更をプッシュされる、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記ピア帯域マネジャが、前記TVバンド帯域占有情報または前記TVバンド帯域使用の変更をプッシュされる場合に、1つまたは複数の前記基地局のTVバンドホワイトスペース帯域割り当てを再計算しなければならないかどうかを個別に判断する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記ピア帯域マネジャが、TVバンドホワイトスペース帯域割り当てが再計算された任意の前記基地局に関連付けられた干渉環境を個別に最適化する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- TVバンドホワイトスペース割り当てポリシーと、
ホワイトスペースデータベースサーバへの通信リンクと、
ピアTVバンド検知エンジン、ピア位置特定エンジン、および前記ホワイトスペースデータベースから受信された帯域占有情報を処理し、基地局、および前記基地局に関連付けられたTVバンド装置にホワイトスペース帯域を割り当てるプロセッサと、を備える、
TVバンドホワイトスペース無線アクセスネットワークのピアツーピアコントロールネットワーク内の帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラ。 - 前記帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラが、制御する前記基地局に常駐する、請求項14に記載の帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラ。
- 前記帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラが、複数の前記基地局、および前記それぞれの基地局に関連付けられた全てのTVバンド装置にサービスを提供するスタンドアロン装置である、請求項14に記載の帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラ。
- 前記帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラが、前記帯域マネジャが、無線アクセスネットワーク内の複数の基地局の間に機能的に分散される、請求項14に記載の帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラ。
- 前記割り当てポリシーが、TVバンドホワイトスペース使用に関する連邦通信委員会規則および命令を順守し、前記帯域マネジャが、前記TVバンド装置をシャットダウンし、上位機関に制御下の問題がある前記TVバンド装置を通知する権限を持つ、請求項14に記載の帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラ。
- 前記帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラが、前記TVバンド検知エンジン、前記TVバンド位置特定エンジン、および前記無線アクセスネットワーク内の全ての他の前記帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラとダイレクト通信リンクを有する、請求項14に記載の帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラ。
- 前記帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラが、制御する前記基地局へ前記TVバンドホワイトスペース帯域を割り当てるとき、前記TVバンドホワイトスペース帯域使用を最適化する、請求項14に記載の帯域マネジャおよび基地局コントローラ。
