Description
H2C=C(R1)−(CO)−O−R2−O−(CO)−(R1)C=CH2
であってよい。この式中、R1は水素又はメチルであり、R2はアルキレン、アリーレン、ヘテロアルキレン、又はこれらの組み合わせである。R2に含まれる任意のアルキレン又はヘテロアルキレンは、直鎖状、分枝状、環状、又はこれらの組み合わせであってよい。ヘテロアルキレンは任意の好適なヘテロ原子を含んでよいが、多くの場合ヘテロ原子は酸素である。多くの実施形態では、多官能性(メタ)アクリレートは、少なくとも4〜40個の炭素原子、8〜40個の炭素原子、4〜30個の炭素原子、8〜30個の炭素原子、4〜20個の炭素原子、8〜20個の炭素原子、6〜18個の炭素原子、8〜18個の炭素原子、6〜16個の炭素原子、8〜16個の炭素原子、8〜14個の炭素原子、又は8〜12個の炭素原子を有するアルキレン基を持つアルキレンジ(メタ)アクリレートである。代表的なアルキレンジ(メタ)アクリレートとして、トリシクロデカン(tricylcodecane)ジメタノールジ(メタ)アクリレート、1,9−ノナンジオールジ(メタ)アクリレート、1,10−デカンジオールジ(メタ)アクリレート、トリシクロデカンジメタノールジ(メタ)アクリレート、トリシクロデカンジオールジ(メタ)アクリレート、シクロヘキサンジメタノールジ(メタ)アクリレート、1,6−ヘキサンジオールジ(メタ)アクリレート、又は水素添加ポリブタジエンジ(メタ)アクリレートが挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。代表的なヘテロアルキレンジ(メタ)アクリレートとして、ポリエチレングリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、例えばSartomer(Exton,PA)から商品名SR210(約200グラム/モルの重量平均分子量を有するポリエチレングリコールに基づく)、SR252(約400グラム/モルの重量平均分子量を有するポリエチレングリコールに基づく)、及びSR603(約600グラム/モルの重量平均分子量を有するポリエチレングリコールに基づく)で市販されるものが挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。好適な3つの(メタ)アクリロイル基を有する多官能性(メタ)アクリレートとして、トリメチロールプロパントリ(メタ)アクリレートが挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。好適なオリゴマー材料として、ウレタンアクリレートオリゴマーが挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
pBDAは、San Ester Corporation(New York,NY)から入手できるポリブタジエンジアクリレートを指す。
引き伸ばし剥離応力測定
二重コーティングした接着テープストリップ(1.25cm×2.5cm)を2枚のガラス製顕微鏡スライド(7.6cm×3.80cm)の間に配置し、このアセンブリの一方の末端から突出した25mmのツメを残した。このアセンブリを4.5kgのローラーで2回加圧し、スライドに接着剤ストリップをしっかりと固着させた。ガラススライドを下位(固定)のつかみ具で把持し、ツメを上位(クロスヘッド)のつかみ具でクランプするように、アセンブリを引張り試験機(Instron Co(Canton,MA)のINSTRON Model 4501)に装着した。つかみ具を30.5cm/分の速度で分離し、引き伸ばしにより剥離を生じるのに必要な平均力(剥離応力、N/cm2で表す)を記録した。接着テープが2つの基材のうちの1つからきれいに取り除かれたことを示す「はい」又は相当量の残留物が剥がされた基材上に残ったことを示す「いいえ」のいずれかで結果を特徴づけた。
曇り及び視感透過率を、BYK Gardner(Columbia,Md.)のGardner BYK Color TCS Plusモデル8870光分析装置を使用して、ASTM 1003−07に記述されている方法に従って測定した。CIE標準発光体Aを使用した。曇りパーセント及び視感透過率パーセントを記録した。
裏材層を、0.75インチ(1.91cm)のC.W.Brabender Instruments Inc.(So.Hackensack,NJ)から市販される、混合スクリュー付きBRABENDER実験室用押出成形機モデルD−5で調製した。裏材樹脂を溶融及び混合した後、押出物を6インチ(15.2cm)のフラット型キャスト用押出ダイに押し通し、フィルムを形成した。押出成形機内の温度は、それぞれ160℃(ゾーン1)、180℃(ゾーン2)、190℃(ゾーン3)、190℃(アダプター)、及び190℃(ダイ)であった。続いて、押し出されたフィルムを、2枚のPETフィルム間に鋳造した。得られたラミネート(PET/押出フィルム/PET)を冷硬ロールスタックに通して、樹脂コポリマーを冷却及び固化した。ラインスピードを調製し、所望の厚さを有する固化フィルムを製造した。PSA層に積層する前に、エアコロナ処理装置モデルBD−20(Electronic Products,Inc.(Chicago,IL))を使用して裏材層を前処理した。PSA層の積層直前に、0.5平方フィート/分(0.046平方m/分)の速度でフィルムの各面をコロナ処理にかけた。
PIBのみ、又はPIBと粘着付与剤の混合物を、表1の2列目に定める比率で調製した。固体パーセントを表1の3列目に示す。接着剤組成物のその他成分は表1の5〜9列目に示す。各接着剤組成物を、シリコーン処理済みPET剥離ライナー(CP Films(St.Louis,MO)のCLEARSIL T50)上にコーティングした。このコーティングしたサンプルを、50分間70℃のオーブン内で乾燥し、試験前に周囲温度で一晩放置した。熱硬化については、サンプルを150℃のオーブン内に5分間置いた。UV硬化については、総線量500mJ/cm2又は750mJ/cm2で、Fusion「H」バルブを使用するFusion UV Curing Systemでサンプルを照射した。照射後、これらのサンプルを試験前に周囲温度で一晩保管した。
Claims (26)
- ASTM D1003−07の方法を使用した測定で5パーセント以下の曇り及び少なくとも85パーセントと等しい視感透過率を有する裏材層であって、
(1)エテン、プロペン、又はこれらの混合物から選択される第1のアルケンと、
(2)4〜8個の炭素原子を有する1,2−アルケンから選択される第2のアルケンと、を含む、反応混合物の重合生成物を含むポリ(アルキレン)コポリマーを含む裏材層と、
前記裏材層の主表面に隣接する少なくとも1つの感圧性接着剤層であって、ポリイソブチレン材料を含む感圧性接着剤層と、を含み、
破断せずに第1の方向に少なくとも50パーセント引き伸ばし可能である、接着テープ。 - 前記ポリイソブチレン材料が硬化される、請求項1に記載の接着テープ。

- 前記感圧性接着剤層が、(a)前記ポリイソブチレン材料と、(b)前記接着剤層の総固体含量に基づき0〜10重量パーセント未満の範囲の量の粘着付与樹脂と、を含み、前記ポリイソブチレン材料が、(i)300,000〜4,200,000グラム/モルの範囲の重量平均分子量を有し、前記ポリイソブチレン材料の総重量に基づき10〜40重量パーセントの範囲の量の第1のポリイソブチレンと、(ii)50,000超〜250,000グラム/モルの範囲の重量平均分子量を有し、前記ポリイソブチレン材料の総重量に基づき50〜70重量パーセントの範囲の量の第2のポリイソブチレンと、(iii)1,000〜50,000グラム/モルの範囲の重量平均分子量を有し、前記ポリイソブチレン材料の総重量に基づき10〜20重量パーセントの範囲の量の第3のポリイソブチレンと、を含む、請求項15〜17のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 前記感圧性接着剤層が、(a)前記接着剤層の総固体含量に基づき70〜90重量パーセントの範囲の量の前記ポリイソブチレン材料と、(b)前記接着剤層の総固体含量に基づき10〜30重量パーセントの範囲の量の粘着付与樹脂と、を含み、前記ポリイソブチレン材料が、(i)100,000〜4,200,000グラム/モルの範囲の重量平均分子量を有し、前記ポリイソブチレン材料の総重量に基づき10〜30重量パーセントの範囲の量の第1のポリイソブチレンと、(ii)30,000〜75,000グラム/モルの範囲の重量平均分子量を有し、前記ポリイソブチレン材料の総重量に基づき70〜90重量パーセントの範囲の量の第2のポリイソブチレンと、を含む、請求項15〜17のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 第1の基材と、
第2の基材と、
前記第1の基材と前記第2の基材との間に配置される接着テープであって、前記接着テープが前記第1の基材を前記第2の基材に連結し、
(A)
(1)エテン、プロペン、又はこれらの混合物から選択される第1のアルケンと、
(2)4〜8個の炭素原子を有する1,2−アルケンから選択される第2のアルケンと、を含む、第1の重合性反応混合物の重合生成物を含むポリ(アルキレン)コポリマーを含む裏材層であって、
ASTM D1003−07を使用して5パーセント以下の曇り及び少なくとも85パーセントと等しい視感透過率を有する裏材層と、
(B)前記裏材層の第1の主表面に隣接する第1の感圧性接着剤層及び前記裏材層の第2の主表面に隣接する第2の感圧性接着剤層であって、それぞれポリイソブチレン材料を含む第1の感圧性接着剤層及び第2の感圧性接着剤層と、
(C)前記第1の基材及び前記第2の基材の少なくとも1つを越えて延在するツメであって、引くことによって接着テープが引き伸ばされ、前記第1の基材から、前記第2の基材から、又は前記第1の基材と前記第2の基材の両方から接着テープが剥離されるツメと、を含み、前記ツメが引かれたとき、破断せずに第1の方向に少なくとも50パーセント引き伸ばし可能である接着テープと、を含む、物品。 - 2つの基材を連結及び分離する方法であって、
第1及び第2の基材を用意する工程と、
前記第1の基材と前記第2の基材との間に接着テープを配置する工程であって、前記接着テープが前記第1の基材を前記第2の基材に連結し、前記接着テープが、
(A)
(1)エテン、プロペン、又はこれらの混合物から選択される第1のアルケンと、
(2)4〜8個の炭素原子を有する1,2−アルケンから選択される第2のアルケンと、を含む、第1の重合性反応混合物の重合生成物を含むポリ(アルキレン)コポリマーを含む裏材層であって、

接着テープのツメを引いて接着テープを引き伸ばし、前記第1の基材から、前記第2の基材から、又は前記第1の基材と前記第2の基材の両方から接着テープを剥離する工程であって、破断せずに第1の方向に少なくとも50パーセント引き伸ばし可能である工程と、を含む、方法。 - 接着テープを製造する方法であって、
(1)エテン、プロペン、又はこれらの混合物から選択される第1のアルケンと、
(2)4〜8個の炭素原子を有する1,2−アルケンから選択される第2のアルケンと、を含む、第1の重合性混合物の重合生成物であるポリ(アルキレン)コポリマーを用意する工程と、
第1の支持層と第2の支持層との間にポリ(アルキレン)コポリマーを含む裏材層を鋳造する工程であって、前記裏材層が、ASTM D1003−07に基づき5パーセント以下の曇り及び少なくとも85パーセントの視感透過率を有する工程と、
前記裏材層の第1の主表面に隣接して少なくとも1つの感圧性接着剤層を配置する工程であって、少なくとも1つの感圧性接着剤層がポリイソブチレンを含む工程と、を含む方法。
