Claims (15)
- 薬物送達デバイスのカートリッジハウジング(6)内のカートリッジ(22)を付勢するよう構成されるエレメント(40)であって、ここで、該エレメント(40)の少なくとも一部分は該薬物送達デバイスの内部表面に自己保持されるよう構成される、上記エレメント。
- 前記エレメントは、
第一の部材、及び
該第一の部材の上に折り畳まれる第二の部材を含んでなり、
該第一の部材は、前記薬物送達デバイスの用量を投与中、該薬物送達デバイスのスピンドル(60)の通行を可能とする形状を有する、請求項1に記載のエレメント(40)。 - 前記エレメント(40)は、
第一のループ(42)、
該第一のループ(42)に柔軟に連結される第二のループ(44)を含んでなり、
該第一及び該第二のループ(42、44)は、前記薬物送達デバイス内の自己保持のため前記薬物送達デバイスの内部表面と係合する、請求項1又は2に記載のエレメント(40)。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のエレメント(40)であって、
該エレメント(40)が前記カートリッジ(22)を付勢していないとき、非圧縮状態に関連する第一の寸法(H1);及び
該エレメント(40)が該カートリッジ(22)を付勢しているとき、圧縮状態に関連する第二の寸法(H2);を含んでなり、
該第一の寸法(H1)及び該第二の寸法(H2)の間の差が、約4mmより小さく、そして好ましくは約0.5mmより大きいような、上記エレメント(40)。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のエレメント(40)であって、該エレメントが、
上部波形スプリング(46)、及び
該上部波形スプリングに柔軟に連結される下部波形スプリング(48)を含んでなる、上記エレメント(40)。 - 前記上部波形スプリング(46)が、前記カートリッジ(22)の外径より概ね小さい外径(Dout)を含んでなる、請求項5に記載のエレメント(40)。
- 前記の上部波形スプリング(46)が、前記カートリッジ(22)の内径より概ね大きい内径(D46、D48)を含んでなる、請求項5に記載のエレメント(40)。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のエレメント(40)及び薬物送達デバイスのシステムであって、該薬物送達デバイスが、好ましくは取り外し可能なカートリッジであるカートリッジ(22)を含有するカートリッジハウジング(6)を含んでなる、上記システム。
- 請求項8に記載のシステムであって、前記カートリッジハウジングが針取り付け部分を含んでなり、該針取り付け部分は、取り外し可能なニードルアセンブリの取り付けを可能にする、上記システム。
- 請求項9記載のシステムであって、使用者がニードルアセンブリを前記カートリッジハウジング(6)の前記針取り付け部分に連結するか、又は前記針取り付け部分から連結を解除するとき、前記自己保持エレメントは、前記カートリッジ(22)が、上記カートリッジハウジング(6)に対して軸方向に移動するのを阻止する、上記システム。
- 請求項9又は10記載のシステムであって、前記針取り付け部分がラセン溝(8)を含んでなる、上記システム。
- 薬物送達デバイスのカートリッジハウジング(6)内のカートリッジ(22)を付勢する方法であって、以下:
カートリッジハウジング(6)の内部端面及び第一の内部表面を画成する工程;
該カートリッジハウジング(6)の該第一の内部表面に沿ってカートリッジ(22)を位置決めする工程;
用量設定機構(4)において自己保持された付勢エレメント(40)を、好ましくは該用量設定機構(6)のハウジング内に、該自己保持された付勢エレメント(40)と柔軟に係合することにより位置決めする工程;及び
該用量設定機構(4)を該カートリッジハウジング(6)に連結する工程;
ことを含んでなる、上記方法。 - 前記自己保持付勢エレメント(40)を利用して、前記カートリッジハウジング(6)の前記内部端面(28)に対して前記カートリッジ(22)を維持する工程を更に含んでなる、請求項12記載の方法。
- 前記自己保持された付勢エレメント(40)を一体エレメントとして製作する工程を更に含んでなる、請求項12又は13に記載の方法。
- 前記自己保持されたスプリング付勢エレメント(40)を、約4mmより小さく、そして好ましくは約0.5mmより大きい圧縮高さ(H2)に圧縮する工程を更に含んでなる、請求項12〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
