Abstract
【解決手段】受信部が、受信した無線信号に基づく信号と周波数信号とを混合する第1ミキサと、当該第1ミキサの出力とローカル信号とを混合する第2ミキサと、当該第2ミキサの出力を復調して復調信号を生成する復調段とを含み、周波数シンセサイザが、制御入力電圧の変動に応じた周波数の周波数信号を生成するVCOと、当該VCOの出力周波数信号を分周して得られた信号と基準クロック信号との位相差に応じた電圧を制御入力電圧とするフィードバック回路と、からなり、当該VCOは、バイアス電流が大となるほど高い周波数で動作可能となる可変周波数発振器であって、当該バイアス電流が当該モード指定に応じて制御される無線通信装置。

Claims (7)
- 受信モード及び送信モードのいずれかのモード指定に応じて定まる周波数信号を生成する周波数シンセサイザと、
前記周波数信号を被変調信号とする送信信号を無線送信する送信部と、
前記周波数信号を用いて無線信号を受信する受信部と、を含む無線通信装置であって、
前記受信部は、
受信した前記無線信号に基づく信号と前記周波数信号とを混合する第1ミクサと、
前記第1ミクサの出力とローカル信号とを混合する第2ミクサと、
前記第2ミクサの出力を復調して復調信号を生成する復調段と、を含み、
前記周波数シンセサイザは、
制御入力電圧の変動に応じた周波数の周波数信号を生成するVCOと、
前記VCOの出力周波数信号を分周して得られた信号と基準クロック信号との位相差に応じた電圧を前記制御入力電圧とするフィードバック回路と、からなり、
前記VCOは、
バイアス電流が大となるほど高い周波数で動作可能となる可変周波数発振器であって、前記バイアス電流が前記モード指定に応じて制御されることを特徴とする無線通信装置。 - 前記フィードバック回路は、前記モード指定に応じて分周比が変化する分周段を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線通信装置。
- 前記分周段は、前記モード指定によって定まる分周比にて分周動作をなすプリスケーラと、前記プリスケーラの分周出力を前記モード指定によって定まる分周比にて分周する分周器とからなることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の無線通信装置。
- 高周波数設定データ及び低周波数設定データを保持する設定データ保持部を有し、
前記設定データ保持部は、前記モード指定に応じて前記高周波数設定データ及び低周波数設定データを択一的に前記VCOに供給し、
前記VCOは、前記設定データの内容に応じた高周波数又は低周波数の周波数信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1つに記載の無線通信装置。 - 前記プリスケーラを構成するラッチ回路へのバイアス電流が前記モード指定に応じて制御されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の無線通信装置。
- 前記ローカル信号は発振器によって生成されたオシレータ信号であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線通信装置。
- 前記ローカル信号は前記周波数信号を分周して得られた分周信号であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線通信装置。
