Abstract
Description
特定の皮膚治療によって要求され得るような、温度監視や皮膚および電極冷却のための追加の装置、治療された皮膚セクションを照らすための照明装置、およびその他を含んでいても良い。RF生成器416、真空ポンプ420、および冷却流体ポンプ、インピーダンス測定回路、説明の簡潔化のために図示されていない配線および配管のようなその他の制御および補助ユニットが、共通のコントローラ462パッケージ中に置かれていても良い。
突起形成の時間は、治療された対象の組織の緩さと構造の関数であることが、実験的に発見されている。図5は、異なる緩さをもった組織についての突起形成時間の概略描写である。数字500は、特定の治療について望まれる突起の大きさを印している。全てのその他の等しい条件下で、ライン504と時間t1が比較的高い緩さの組織についての突起形成を印している。ライン508と512は、ライン504の印しよりも堅い(より硬い)組織についての突起形成時間t2とt3を印しており、ライン512とt3が最も堅い組織を印している。例えば、高い緩さの組織についての突起形成時間は約20ミリ秒から200ミリ秒である。堅い(硬い)組織についての突起形成時間は約1200ミリ秒から2000ミリ秒である。突起形成時間の知識は、各タイプについての適切な組織治療パラメータの選択を可能とする。治療パラメータは、突起形成時間に基づいて手動で設定されても良く、あるいはLED446とセンサー448(図4)からの時間を読み出すフィードバックループをコントローラ中に含めて、組織のタイプと組織治療パラメータを確立するのにフィードバックの少なくとも一部を使用することによって自動的に設定されても良い。
Claims (40)
- 皮膚突起を形成するためのアプリケータであって、
突起として構成されるべき皮膚のセクションをその中に受け取る空洞を有するハウジングであって、空洞は負圧源と通信しているものと、
負圧源との通信を制御するように構成された、空洞の内部に位置する突起調整されたバルブと、
を含むアプリケータ。 - ハウジングは、負圧の印加下において空洞中に皮膚を引き込むように構成されている、請求項1によるアプリケータ。
- バルブは更に、
少なくとも1つのガイドと結合されたプレートであって、プレートは突起によって第一の方向にずらされるように構成されているものと、
突起がへこむ時に、ずらされたプレートのそのずらされていない位置に向けての戻りを助長するために、第一の方向とは反対方向に力を加えるように構成されたばねと、

アプリケータを皮膚のセグメントに適用することであって、アプリケータは負圧源と通信している空洞を有することと、
負圧の結果として皮膚のセグメントの一部を空洞中に引き込むことによって、皮膚突起を形成することと、
突起を形成している負圧のレベルを制御しているバルブによって、突起の大きさを調整することと、
を含む方法。 - 負圧源との通信は、それが開いた位置と閉じた位置の間を動くにつれて負圧通信を制御するように構成されたバルブを通してである、請求項9による方法。

RFエネルギーを皮膚突起に印加することと、

- RFエネルギーは、パルスまたは連続モードで皮膚に印加される、請求項23による方法。
