光入射面及び前記光入射面に対向する光出射面と、
前記光入射面と前記光出射面との間に交互に配置された透過領域及び吸収領域であって、各透過領域が屈折率Ｎ１を有し、各吸収領域が屈折率Ｎ２を有し、Ｎ２−Ｎ１が−０．００５以上である透過領域及び吸収領域と、を含み、
連続する吸収領域の平均ピッチが０．０７０ｍｍ以下であり、
前記光入射面に入射した光が、前記光出射面に垂直な方向で６５以上の最大相対輝度比（ＲＢＲ）で前記光出射面から出射し、４５°以下の有効極視野角（ＥＰＶＡ）で前記光出射面から出射する、光制御フィルム。
［実施形態２］
前記ＥＰＶＡが４０°以下である、実施形態１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態３］
前記ＥＰＶＡが３５°以下である、実施形態１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態４］
Ｎ２がＮ１と等しい、実施形態１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態５］
Ｎ２−Ｎ１が−０．００５〜０．０２である、実施形態１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態６］
各吸収領域が、顔料、染料、又はこれらの混合物から選択される光学的に吸収性の材料を含む、実施形態１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態７］
前記光学的に吸収性の材料が、カーボンブラック顔料である、実施形態６に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態８］
前記透過領域及び吸収領域のそれぞれが放射線硬化（メタ）アクリレートポリマーを含む、実施形態１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態９］
各透過領域と吸収領域との間の第１境界面が、前記フィルムの平面に垂直な方向から測定される第１境界角θ Ｉ を形成し、前記第１境界角θ Ｉ が６°以下である、実施形態１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態１０］
第１境界角θ Ｉ が４°以下である、実施形態９に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態１１］
各透過領域と吸収領域との間の第２境界面が、前記フィルムの平面に垂直な方向から測定される第２境界角θ Ｉ を形成し、前記第２境界角θ Ｉ が６°以下である、実施形態９に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態１２］
第２境界角θ Ｉ が４°以下である、実施形態１１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態１３］
第１境界角θ Ｉ が第２境界角θ Ｉ と等しい、実施形態１１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態１４］
吸収領域の幅が最も狭い末端部で１２μｍ以下である、実施形態１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態１５］
吸収領域の幅が最も狭い末端部で１０μｍ以下である、実施形態１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態１６］
吸収領域の幅が最も狭い末端部で８μｍ以下である、実施形態１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態１７］
連続する吸収領域の平均ピッチが０．０６５ｍｍ以下である、実施形態１に記載の光制御フィルム。
［実施形態１８］
ＭＢ２０が６０以上である、実施形態１に記載の光制御フィルム。

Claims (3)

  1. 光入射面及び前記光入射面に対向する光出射面と、
    前記光入射面と前記光出射面との間に交互に配置された透過領域及び吸収領域であって、各透過領域が屈折率Ｎ１を有し、各吸収領域が屈折率Ｎ２を有し、Ｎ２−Ｎ１が−０．００５以上である透過領域及び吸収領域と、を含み、
    連続する吸収領域の平均ピッチが０．０７０ｍｍ以下であり、
    前記光入射面に入射した光が、前記光出射面に垂直な方向で６５以上の最大相対輝度比（ＲＢＲ）で前記光出射面から出射し、４５°以下の有効極視野角（ＥＰＶＡ）で前記光出射面から出射する、光制御フィルム。
  2. Ｎ２−Ｎ１が−０．００５〜０．０２である、請求項１に記載の光制御フィルム。
  3. 各透過領域と吸収領域との間の第１境界面が、前記フィルムの平面に垂直な方向から測定される第１境界角θＩを形成し、前記第１境界角θＩが６°以下であり、さらに各透過領域と吸収領域との間の第２境界面が、前記フィルムの平面に垂直な方向から測定される第２境界角θ Ｉ を形成し、前記第２境界角θ Ｉ が６°以下である、請求項１に記載の光制御フィルム。
