Abstract
【解決手段】舶用ディーゼル機関10Aの排気管16に排気ガスeの一部を吸気集合管13に戻すEGR管路32を設ける。EGR管路32にはEGRバルブ34、EGRスクラバ36、EGRブロア38が介設されている。過給機20の伝達軸26に発電機40が設けられ、発電機40で発生した電力を導電線42を介してEGRブロア38の駆動モータ39に送り、該駆動モータ39を駆動する。タービン22の下流側排気管28にSCR触媒コンバータ28を設け、排気ガスe中のNOXを除去する。

Description
前記SCRシステムを構成するSCR触媒を内蔵したSCR触媒コンバータは、通常、タービン112の下流側の排気管118に設けられる。
特許文献3に開示されたEGRシステムは、気体圧縮機等の送風手段を駆動する動力を必要とし、省エネ及びCO2削減が求められている昨今の趨勢に逆行する。
また、該送風機を駆動する動力を過給機から得るようにしているので、該送風機を駆動するための特別の駆動装置を必要としない。そのため、省エネ及びCO2削減に寄与できる。
これによって、船舶が排ガス規制海域を航行するときに、排ガス規制海域の排ガス規制値を満たす運転を行なうことができる。
また、該送風機を駆動する動力を過給機から得るようにしているので、該送風機を駆動するための特別の駆動装置を必要とせず、そのため、省エネ及びCO2削減に寄与できる。
本発明を舶用ディーゼル機関に適用した第1実施形態を図1により説明する。図1に示す本実施形態の舶用ディーゼル機関10Aにおいて、シリンダ12のシリンダヘッド12aの内側に排気弁14が設けられ、シリンダヘッド12aには排気管16が接続されている。排気管16には過給機20を構成するタービン22が設けられている。タービン22は、シリンダヘッド12aから排気された排気ガスeにより回転駆動される。過給機20のコンプレッサ24は、タービン22と伝達軸26を介して一体に接続され、タービン22と共に回転する。
また、EGRブロア38の駆動モータ39を発電機40で発生させた電力で駆動するようにしているので、特別な駆動装置を必要としない。そのため、省エネを達成でき、CO2の発生を抑制できる。
次に、本発明装置の第2実施形態を図2により説明する。図2に示す本実施形態の舶用ディーゼル機関10Bにおいて、本実施形態では、伝達軸26の回転を、歯車や回転軸等を用いた機械的動力伝達機構44を用いてEGRブロア38の図示省略の駆動軸に伝達するようにしている。本実施形態のその他の構成は、前記第1実施形態と同一である。
次に、本発明装置の第3実施形態を図3〜図6により説明する。本実施形態の舶用ディーゼル機関10C及びその排気ガス処理装置の構成は、前記第1実施形態の舶用ディーゼル機関10Aと同一であり、該舶用ディーゼル機関10Aと同一構成のEGRシステム及びSCRシステムを備えている。
図3において、本実施形態の舶用ディーゼル機関10Cは、コントローラ50及び舶用ディーゼル機関10Cを搭載した船舶の位置を計測するGPS等の位置計測装置52を備えている。また、予め、目標EGR率マップ54及びブロア必要電力マップ56が作成され、これらのマップがコントローラ50の記憶装置に収納されている。
船舶が特に排気ガス規制が厳しい特定海域を運航する場合でも、予め作成された目標EGR率マップ54及びブロア必要電力マップ56に基づいて、排気ガス中のNOX量を低減できるEGRガス量に制御できるので、特定海域の排気ガス規制基準を満たすことができる。また、この制御を、機関運転手に頼ることなく、自動化して行なうことができる。

- 過給機が設けられたディーゼル機関の排気ガスの一部を吸気経路に循環させる循環路を備え、該循環路を介して排気ガスの一部を吸気経路に循環させ、燃焼温度を低減してNOXの発生を抑制するようにした排気ガス処理装置において、
前記循環路に介設された送風機と、コンプレッサとタービンとを連結した過給機の動力伝達軸に接続され該動力伝達軸から動力を得る動力取出し装置と、を備え、
該動力取出し装置で取り出した動力で前記送風機を駆動して前記吸気経路に供給される排気ガスの圧力を吸気圧より高くするように構成したことを特徴とする排気ガス処理装置。 - 前記動力取出し装置が発電機であり、該発電機で得た電力により送風機を駆動するようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気ガス処理装置。

該相関マップに基づいて送風機駆動速度を制御するコントローラと、を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかの項に記載の排気ガス処理装置。 - 前記ディーゼル機関が舶用ディーゼル機関であり、該舶用ディーゼル機関を搭載した船舶の航行位置を計測する位置計測装置と、該位置計測装置により該船舶が排ガス規制海域に入ったことを検知した時に、前記コントローラで送風機駆動速度を制御するように構成したことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の排気ガス処理装置。
- 過給機のタービン下流側排ガス経路に選択性還元触媒を内蔵した触媒コンバータを設け、該下流側排ガス経路を通る排気ガス中のNOX除去を行なうことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかの項に記載の排気ガス処理装置。
