Abstract

Claims (6)
- 吸収性物品の製造工程の流れ方向に沿った機械方向に搬送されるウェブを折り畳む折畳装置であって、
前記機械方向に直交する回転軸を有し、前記ウェブの表面に交差する方向に向けて前記ウェブを押圧しながら前記ウェブを機械方向に送る回転体と、
前記回転体よりも前記機械方向の下流側に設けられ、前記機械方向に沿った前記ウェブの側部領域を前記側部領域よりも前記ウェブの幅方向内側の内側領域の上に重ね合わせるように案内する案内部と
を備え、
前記回転体の少なくとも一方の端部は、ウェブの側縁部に向ってテーパ形状であり、
前記一方の端部は、前記ウェブの側縁部よりも中央領域側に配置される折畳装置。 - 前記回転体の少なくとも前記ウェブに接触する表面には、前記ウェブを形成する繊維間に入り込む凸部が形成される請求項1に記載の折畳装置。
- 前記回転体の少なくとも前記ウェブに接触する表面は、非粘着性である請求項1又は2に記載の折畳装置。
- 前記回転体よりも前記ウェブの幅方向の側縁部よりも内側の領域を押圧する副回転体を有する請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載の折畳装置。
- 前記回転体は、前記ウェブの幅方向の側縁部よりも内側且つ前記機械方向に沿った中心線よりも外側の任意の位置に移動可能である請求項1に記載の折畳装置。
- 前記回転体は、幅方向の両側部に一対設けられる請求項1に記載の折畳装置。
