Abstract
【解決手段】少なくとも水と、ムライト、BSAS、又はムライト/BSAS混合物からなる主要遷移材料とを混ぜ合わせて遷移層スラリーを製造するステップと、遷移層スラリーをセラミック部品10に塗布するステップと、少なくとも水と、BSASからなる主要外部材料とを混ぜ合わせて外層スラリーを製造するステップと、外層スラリーを塗布された遷移層スラリーを有する部品に塗布するステップと、部品を焼結させて、少なくとも遷移層16及び外層18を有する耐環境バリアコーティングを製造するステップとからなり、遷移層スラリー又は外層スラリーの少なくとも1つはスラリー焼結助剤を有しており、遷移層はその0〜約30容量%の多孔率を有し、外層はその0〜約15容量%の多孔率を有する。

Claims (10)
- 焼結助剤を用いた耐環境コーティング(12)の製造方法であって、
少なくとも水と、ムライト、BSAS、又はムライト/BSAS混合物からなる主要遷移材料とを混ぜ合わせて遷移層スラリーを製造するステップと、
前記遷移層スラリーをセラミック部品(10)に塗布するステップと、
少なくとも水と、BSASからなる主要外部材料とを混ぜ合わせて外層スラリーを製造するステップと、
前記外層スラリーを前記塗布された遷移層スラリーを有する前記部品に塗布するステップと、
前記部品を焼結させて、少なくとも遷移層(16)及び外層(18)を有する前記耐環境バリアコーティングを製造するステップとからなり、
前記遷移層スラリー又は前記外層スラリーの少なくとも1つはスラリー焼結助剤を有しており、前記遷移層はその0〜約30容量%の多孔率を有し、前記外層はその0〜約15容量%の多孔率を有する、方法。 - 約9wt%〜約81wt%の水、約3wt%〜約72wt%の主要遷移材料、及び選択的に任意の有機加工助剤を混ぜ合わせて、前記遷移層スラリーを製造するステップと、
約9wt%〜約81wt%の水、約3wt%〜約72wt%の主要外部材料、及び選択的に任意の有機加工助剤を混ぜ合わせて、前記外層スラリーを製造するステップと、
約0.1wt%〜約18wt%のスラリー焼結助剤を前記遷移層スラリー又は前記外層スラリーの少なくとも1つと混ぜ合わせるステップとを有しており、
前記有機加工助剤は、
約0wt%〜約6wt%の分散剤、
約0wt%〜約7wt%の可塑剤、
約0wt%〜約1wt%の界面活性剤、
約0wt%〜約11wt%の制御分散用二次添加剤、
約0wt%〜約0.5wt%の増粘剤、及び
約0wt%〜約15wt%のラテックス結合剤からなる、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記スラリー焼結助剤は、希土類硝酸塩、希土類酢酸塩、希土類塩化物、希土類酸化物、リン酸アンモニウム、リン酸、ポリビニルホスホン酸、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1又は2のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記部品を約1℃/分〜約15℃/分の速度で約400℃〜約1000℃の温度に加熱し、前記部品をその温度で最大約2時間保持することによって、焼結前に前記有機加工助剤を燃焼させるステップを有する、請求項1、2、又は3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記部品を約1℃/分〜約15℃/分の速度で約1100℃〜約1700℃の温度に加熱し、前記部品をその温度で最大約24時間保持することによって、前記有機加工助剤の燃焼後に前記部品(10)を焼結させるステップを有する、請求項1、2、3、又は4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記遷移層スラリー(16)が焼結後に少なくとも1つの欠陥を有する場合、前記欠陥を修復するステップは、
遷移層修復スラリーを前記遷移層に塗布するステップと、
前記塗布された遷移層修復スラリーを有する前記遷移層を焼結させて修復遷移層を製造するステップとからなる、請求項1、2、3、4、又は5のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記遷移層修復スラリーは、前記焼結助剤と、少なくとも約30〜約55容量%の固形物負荷の主要遷移材料とからなる、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記耐環境コーティング(12)が焼結後に少なくとも1つの欠陥を有する場合、前記欠陥を修復するステップは、
外層修復スラリーを前記耐環境コーティングに塗布するステップと、
前記塗布された外層修復スラリーを有する前記耐環境コーティングを焼結させて修復耐環境コーティングを製造するステップとからなる、請求項1、2、3、4、5、6、又は7のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記外層修復スラリーは、前記焼結助剤と、少なくとも約30〜約55容量%の固形物負荷の主要外部材料とからなる、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記部品(10)は、セラミックマトリックス複合体、即ち燃焼器部品、タービンブレード、シュラウド、ノズル、ヒートシールド、及びベーンからなる群から選択されるモノリシックセラミックタービンエンジン部品である、請求項1、2、3、4、5、6、7、8、又は9に記載の方法。
