Claims (20)
- 光アブレーション可能デジタル記憶媒体上のアブレーション可能材料の1個以上の部分をアブレーションすべく構成された装置において、光アブレーション可能デジタル記憶媒体にデジタルデータを記録する方法であって、
光アブレーション可能デジタル記憶媒体の記録層に記録されるデジタルデータを受け取る動作であって、前記記録層が基板の上に形成され、前記記録層と前記基板との間には0個以上の介在層があり、前記記録層が、デジタルデータを記憶すべく構成されたアブレーション可能材料を含む動作と、
アブレーションされた部分が前記受け取ったデジタルデータのデータ点に対応するように、前記受け取ったデジタルデータにより規定されたシーケンスに従い前記記録層内の前記アブレーション可能材料をアブレーションする動作と
を含む方法。 - 前記0個以上の介在層が1個以上の介在層を含み、前記1個以上の介在層の少なくとも1個が反射層を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記0個以上の介在層が1個以上の介在層を含み、前記1個以上の介在層が少なくとも1個の吸収層を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記光アブレーション可能な記憶媒体が記録に使用可能であると判定する動作を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記記録層の厚さが1〜500ナノメートルの範囲にある、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数の層を含む光記録可能な媒体であって、前記複数の層が、
前記光記録可能な媒体に適切な剛性を与えるのに十分な構造支持層と、
既にアブレーションを施されたデータ点に対応する1個以上の部分を含むアブレーション可能データ層であって、前記データ点が、前記アブレーション可能な層に記録可能なデジタルデータに対応する、アブレーション可能データ層と
を含む媒体。 - 前記アブレーション可能データ層が保護吸収層を含む、請求項6に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
- 反射層を更に含む、請求項7に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
- 前記保護吸収性のアブレーション可能なデータ層が前記反射層の上に配置されていて、前記反射層が前記構造支持層の上に配置されている、請求項8に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
- 前記反射層と前記構造支持層との間に接着層を更に含む、請求項9に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
- 上部からデジタルデータが読み出され、かつ記録される、請求項8に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
- 保護層および反射層を更に含む、請求項6に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
- 前記保護層が前記反射層の上に配置されていて、前記反射層が前記アブレーション可能データ層の上に配置されていて、前記アブレーション可能データ層が前記構造支持層の上に配置されている、請求項12に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
- 前記アブレーション可能なデータ層と前記構造支持層との間に接着層を更に含む、請求項13に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
- 底部からデジタルデータが読み出され、かつ記録される、請求項13に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
- 吸収層を更に含む、請求項12に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
- 前記アブレーション可能データ層が前記構造支持層の上に蒸着されて、前記アブレーション可能データ層と前記構造支持層との間に0個以上の介在層を有する、請求項6に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
- 単一の層を含む光記録可能な媒体であって、前記層が、
前記光記録可能な媒体に適切な剛性を与え、
前記層の1個以上の部分が、アブレーションを施されたデータ点に対応するようにアブレーション可能性を与える
ように構成された1種以上の材料を含み、前記データ点が、前記層に記録可能なデジタルデータに対応する、媒体。 - 前記1種以上の材料が更に、前記光記録可能な媒体に保護性を与えるように構成されている、請求項18に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
- 前記1種以上の材料が更に、アブレーションエネルギーを反射するための反射性を与えるように構成されている、請求項18に記載の光記録可能な媒体。
