Abstract
Description
「ポリマーフィルム」は、本明細書で使用する場合、性能を高める層として機能する比較的薄くおよび硬質のポリマー層を意味する。「ポリマーフィルム」は、本明細書で使用する場合、ポリマー層とは異なり、ポリマーフィルムはそれ自体、複数層グレージング構造体に必要な貫入抵抗(penetration resistance)およびガラス保持特性を提供せず、むしろ赤外線吸収特性のような性能を改善する。ポリ(エチレンテレフタレート)が、ポリマーフィルムとして最も一般的に使用される。
「ポリマー層」は、本明細書で使用する場合、積層されたグレージングパネルに適切な貫入抵抗およびガラス保持特性を提供する中間層として使用するため、単独で適切な薄い層または一つを超える層のスタック中に、任意の適切な方法で形成される熱可塑性ポリマー構造体を意味する。可塑化されたポリ(ビニルブチラール)は、ポリマー層を形成するのに最も一般的に使用される。
耐衝撃性を改善されたポリ(ビニルブチラール)複数層中間層の実施例を表1に列挙する。メートル単位の平均破断高(MBH)で示す耐衝撃性を図2に示す。
Claims (19)
- ポリ(ビニルブチラール)を含む第一ポリマー層、
ポリ(ビニルブチラール)を含む第二ポリマー層、
ポリ(ビニルブチラール)を含む第三ポリマー層
を含み、
前記第二ポリマー層が、前記第一ポリマー層と前記第三ポリマー層の間に配置され、
前記第一ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー中の可塑剤の量が、前記第二ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー中の可塑剤の量より少なくとも2phr高く、および
前記第三ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー中の可塑剤の量が、前記第二ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー中の可塑剤の量より少なくとも2phr高い
複数層中間層。 - 前記第二ポリマー層が、前記第一ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマーおよび前記第三ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー各々の残留ヒドロキシル基含有量より少なくとも0.5重量%高い残留ヒドロキシル基含有量を有する、請求項1に記載のポリマー中間層。
- 前記第二ポリマー層が、前記第一ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマーおよび前記第三ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー各々の残留ヒドロキシル基含有量より少なくとも2.0重量%高い残留ヒドロキシル基含有量を有する、請求項1に記載のポリマー中間層。
- 前記第二ポリマー層の引張り破断応力が180kg/cm2より高く、前記第一ポリマー層および前記第三ポリマー層の引張り破断応力が230kg/cm2未満であり、ならびに前記第二ポリマー層の引張り破断応力が、前記第一ポリマー層および前記第三ポリマー層の引張り破断応力より15kg/cm2よりも大きい、請求項1に記載のポリマー中間層。
- 前記第二ポリマー層の引張り破断応力が、前記第一ポリマー層および前記第三ポリマー層の引張り破断応力より15kg/cm2よりも大きい、請求項1に記載のポリマー中間層。
- 前記第一ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー中の可塑剤の量が、前記第二ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー中の可塑剤の量より少なくとも5phr高く、および前記第三ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー中の可塑剤の量が、前記第二ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー中の可塑剤の量より少なくとも5phr高い、請求項1に記載のポリマー層中間層。
- ポリ(ビニルブチラール)を含む第一ポリマー層、
ポリ(ビニルブチラール)を含む第二ポリマー層、
ポリ(ビニルブチラール)を含む第三ポリマー層
を含み、
前記第二ポリマー層が前記第一ポリマー層と前記第三ポリマー層の間に配置され、
前記第一ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー中の可塑剤の量が、前記第二ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー中の可塑剤の量より少なくとも2phr高く、および
前記第三ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー中の可塑剤の量が、前記第二ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー中の可塑剤の量より少なくとも2phr高い
複数層中間層を含む複数層グレージングパネル。 - 前記第二ポリマー層が、前記第一ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマーおよび前記第三ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー各々の残留ヒドロキシル基含有量より少なくとも0.5重量%高い残留ヒドロキシル基含有量を有する、請求項7に記載のパネル。
- 前記第二ポリマー層が、前記第一ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマーおよび前記第三ポリマー層の前記可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマー各々の残留ヒドロキシル基含有量より少なくとも2.0重量%高い残留ヒドロキシル基含有量を有する、請求項7に記載のパネル。

- 第一ポリマー溶融物、第二ポリマー溶融物および第三ポリマー溶融物を形成し、前記第一ポリマー溶融物、前記第二ポリマー溶融物および前記第三ポリマー溶融物の間の可塑剤濃度phrの差が2phr以下であり、
前記第一ポリマー溶融物、前記第二ポリマー溶融物および前記第三ポリマー溶融物を同時に押出して、第一ポリマー層、第二ポリマー層および第三ポリマー層を有し、前記第二ポリマー層が前記第一ポリマー層と前記第三ポリマー層の間に配置された中間層を形成して、可塑剤を、前記第二ポリマー層から前記第一ポリマー層および前記第三ポリマー層の両者に移行させ、
