Description
Claims (18)
- 内部構成部品と外部構成部品との間に締りばめを与えるためのトレランス・リングであって、重なっている第1及び第2の層を形成するために巻かれた変形可能な帯を備え、第1の層がその円周のまわりに半径方向に延びる複数の突起を有するトレランス・リング。
- 第1の層が、半径方向に第2の層の内側である、請求項1に記載のトレランス・リング。
- 第1の層が、半径方向に第2の層の外側である、請求項1に記載のトレランス・リング。
- 第2の層が実質的に無構造であり、突起が第1の層の無構造の部分から延びる、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のトレランス・リング。
- 第2の層が第1の層上の突起と完全に重なる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のトレランス・リング。
- 第1の層上の全ての突起が、第1の層の無構造の部分から内向きあるいは外向きに延びる、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のトレランス・リング。
- 突起が、軸方向に細長い隆起部分に隣接する一組の軸方向に間隔をあけた隆起部分を含み、細長い隆起部分の軸方向範囲が、間隔をあけた隆起部分の組の軸方向範囲に対応する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のトレランス・リング。
- 帯が、内部構成部品の周囲長の周りを二重に巻くように構成された弾力性のある割りリングである、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のトレランス・リング。
- 内部構成部品と、該内部構成部品と嵌合する外部構成部品と、そして内部構成部品と外部構成部品との間に位置するトレランス・リングとを備える装置であって、該トレランス・リングが、重なっている第1と第2の層を形成するために巻かれた帯を備え、第1の層がその円周のまわりに、内部構成部品と外部構成部品との間で圧縮される、半径方向に延びた突起を有する装置。
- 第2の層が、第1の層上の突起と内部構成部品との間に置かれる、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 第2の層が、突起を介して伝達された力を、内部構成部品へと拡散するために構成された平滑なシートである、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 内部構成部品が、軸方向に隣接した複数のサブコンポーネントを含む、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 内部構成部品及び外部構成部品が、ハウジング内に形成された口径の中で支えられ得る軸を備える、請求項12に記載の装置。
- ハウジングがハードディスク・ドライブ用のアームであり、軸がそのアーム用のピボットであり、該ピボットがスペーサー要素により相互に隔てられた一対の軸受を備え、スペーサー要素と軸受がトレランス・リングを支えるための外表面を形成するように、実質的に接触して配置されている、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 第2の層が、突起の力の足跡を外輪へと広げるために、該突起と軸受の外輪との間に置かれる、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 第1の層及び/又は第2の層が、組立て中に内部構成部品を帯の中心へとガイドするために構成される、外側に広がった軸方向の縁を有する、請求項9〜15のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 内部構成部品と、該内部構成部品と嵌合する外部構成部品と、そして内部構成部品と外部構成部品との間に位置するトレランス・リングとを備える装置のためのプリアセンブリーの構成であって、該プリアセンブリーが軸上あるいは口径内のいずれかにしっかりと取り付けられたトレランス・リングを備え、該トレランス・リングは重なっている第1及び第2の層を形成するために巻かれた変形可能な帯を含み、第1の層がその円周のまわりに半径方向に延びる複数の突起を有する、プリアセンブリーの構成。
- 内部構成部品と、該内部構成部品と嵌合する外部構成部品と、そして内部構成部品と外部構成部品との間に位置するトレランス・リングとを備える装置の組立て方法であって、該方法が:
重なっている第1及び第2の層を形成するために巻かれた変形可能な帯を備え、第1の層がその円周のまわりに半径方向に延びる複数の突起を有するトレランス・リングを内部あるいは外部構成部品のいずれかに取付けることと、
内部構成部品と外部構成部品を嵌合させ、それにより該内部構成部品と外部構成部品との間に締りばめを与えるために、トレランス・リング上の突起を圧縮することとを含む方法。
