・るつぼの含有物を8gのホウ酸に加えて、撹拌して、5分間放置し、
・アンモニア溶液の液滴の添加によって、溶液のpHを3.2に調整し、
・100mL量に、脱イオン水を使用して希釈し、
・試料を濾過し、

3)軟化温度をTlog107.6として示し、log10η=7.6でその温度を意味し、それは一枚のガラスリボンが重力の下でほぼ変形するものである。
4)上限緩冷温度をTlog1013.4として示し、log10η=13.4でその温度を意味し、それは一枚のガラスリボンを焼きなますことができる温度の範囲の上限値である。

Al2O3 0〜5%
Na2O 10〜18%
K2O 0〜5.5%
CaO 0〜5%
MgO 0〜2%
SO3 0〜1%
Fe2O3(全鉄) >0.01%
TiO2 0〜1%
を含み、
SrO 0〜15%
BaO 0〜15%
の一方または両方を含み、SrOおよびBaOの合計量が4%を超える板ガラス組成物。 - 前記アルカリ土類金属成分の合計量が10〜20%の範囲内である請求項1に記載の板ガラス組成物。
- 前記アルカリ金属成分の合計量が10〜20%の範囲内である請求項1または請求項2に記載の板ガラス組成物。
- 前記第一鉄の濃度が28%以上である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の板ガラス組成物。
- ガラスを5mm以下の厚さで設ける時、
(a)70%以上のLTAで29以上、
(b)75%以上のLTAで27以上、
の性能である請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の板ガラス組成物。 - 液体温度が、980℃以下である請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の板ガラス組成物。
- SrOが12%未満、好ましくは10%未満の量で存在でき、BaOは0.05〜12%、好ましくは4〜10%の量で存在できる請求項1〜6に記載の板ガラス組成物。
- CaOが4.9%以下、好ましくは4.8%以下の量で存在する請求項1〜7に記載の板ガラス組成物。
- MgOが1%以下、好ましくは0.8%以下の量で存在する請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の板ガラス組成物。
- Na2Oが13%以上、好ましくは14%以上の量で存在する請求項1〜9に記載の板ガラス組成物。
- K2Oが3%以下、好ましくは2%以下の量で存在する請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の板ガラス組成物。
- 前記アルカリ土類金属成分の合計量が10〜15%の範囲内である請求項7〜9のいずれかに記載の板ガラス組成物。
- 前記アルカリ金属成分の合計量が13〜17%の範囲内である請求項7〜12のいずれかに記載の板ガラス組成物。
- 重量百分率で、
SiO2 65〜74%
Al2O3 0〜3%
Na2O 13〜16%
K2O 0〜2%
CaO 1〜4.9%
MgO 0〜2%
SO3 0〜1%
Fe2O3(全鉄) >0.01%
TiO2 0〜1%
BaO 4〜10%
SrO 0〜5%
を含み、前記アルカリ土類金属成分の合計量は10〜13%の範囲内であり、前記アルカリ金属成分の合計量14〜16%の範囲内である板ガラス組成物。 - 更に、一つ以上の次の着色剤、コバルトの酸化物、ニッケルの酸化物、クロムの酸化物、バナジウムの酸化物、マンガンの酸化物、銅の酸化物、セリウムの酸化物、ネオジムの酸化物およびエルビウムの酸化物およびセレンの着色剤のうち一つ以上を含む請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の板ガラス組成物。
- 請求項1〜15のいずれかに記載の組成物のシート形状での板ガラス。
- 熱膨張率αが、50〜350℃の間で100×10−7cm−1を超える請求項16に記載の板ガラス。
- 互いから離れて間隔をおいた少なくとも二枚のガラスのシートを具える透明板ガラスであって、一枚以上のガラスのシートが請求項16または請求項17に記載の板ガラスである透明板ガラス。
- 積層板ガラスの形態であって、二枚のガラスのシートが少なくとも一枚の中間層材料の層によって分離され、該中間層材料の層が前記シートを一緒に接合する請求項18に記載の透明板ガラス。
- 積層窓ガラス部材の形態であって、二枚のガラスのシートが気体層によって分離される複数枚の窓ガラス構成部材の形態である請求項18に記載の窓ガラス。
- 一体式の自動車窓を作るために、請求項16または17に記載のガラスをシートの形態で使用する方法。
- 強化自動車窓を作るために、ガラスをシートの形態で使用する請求項21に記載の方法。
- 自動車窓および/または建築窓として、請求項18〜20のいずれかに記載の透明ガラスを使用する方法。
