Abstract
【解決手段】温度調節可能なシリンダ12内に回転自在に配備された2本のスクリュ14と、2本のスクリュ14を回転させる回転駆動機構とを備え、上流側より下流側へ向かって順次、混練部17、脱揮領域16、原料充満部15を有する。脱揮領域16には、シリンダ12の中空部上方側をシリンダ内径の0・01〜0・15倍に相当する削り量だけ拡大した拡大シリンダセグメント19を配備し、かつ拡大シリンダの真空ベント口13直下以外の部位に表面更新スクリュピース18を配備した。

含有揮発成分:n−Hex(3000ppm)
シリンダ内径:69φmm
原料処理量Q:150〜250Kg/h
スクリュ回転速度:100〜250rpm
実験で使用したシリンダ・スクリュの構成を図6〜8に示す。
Cin=押圧機へ供給される前の原料に含有された揮発成分の濃度
図9より、実施例1、2のような拡大シリンダを使用することで、標準シリンダより脱揮能力を向上させることができた。実施例2(θ/D=0・15拡大シリンダ)では、比較例に比べ原料処理量Q=150Kg/hにおいては約9%、原料処理量Q=250Kg/hにおいては約14%、脱揮能力が向上した。

- 温度調節可能なシリンダと、前記シリンダ内に回転自在に配備された2本のスクリュと、前記スクリュを回転させる回転駆動機構とを備え、供給口が設けられた上流側から下流側へ向かって順次、混練部、真空ベント口を有する脱揮領域、原料充満部を備える脱揮用二軸スクリュ押出機において、
前記脱揮領域には、シリンダ中空部の上部を前記シリンダの内径の0.01〜0.15倍に相当する拡大量の拡大を行った拡大シリンダを配備し、かつ前記拡大シリンダ内には表面更新性を有するスクリュピースを配備したことを特徴とする脱揮用二軸スクリュ押出機。
