Abstract
【解決手段】容量係数制御手段126は、ロックアップクラッチL/Uのスリップ制御中に発生する発熱量QCLに基づいてトルクコンバータ6の容量係数Cを増加させるため、ロックアップクラッチL/Uが受け持つ分担トルクTCLを低減させてロックアップクラッチL/Uの発熱量QCLの増加を抑制することができる。したがって、従来ではロックアップクラッチL/Uの発熱量QCLが大きくなるに伴い、スリップ制御が不可能であった走行領域においてもスリップ制御を実施することが可能となる。上記より、スリップ制御を実施する走行領域を拡大させることができるため、燃費を向上させることができる。

- ポンプ翼車とタービン翼車と該タービン翼車とポンプ翼車との間に回転可能に配設されたステータ翼車とロックアップクラッチとを有するトルクコンバータを備えた車両用動力伝達装置の制御装置であって、
前記ステータ翼車の回転を制御することにより前記トルクコンバータの容量係数を制御する容量係数制御手段を備え、

前記容量係数制御手段は、該算出された発熱量が所定値以下になるように前記容量係数を制御することを特徴とする請求項1の車両用動力伝達装置の制御装置。 - 前記発熱量算出手段は、駆動源の入力トルクと前記トルクコンバータの伝達トルクとから前記ロックアップクラッチが分担する分担トルクを算出し、該分担トルクおよび前記ロックアップクラッチの滑り量に基づいて発熱量を算出することを特徴とする請求項2の車両用動力伝達装置の制御装置。
- 前記所定値は、前記ロックアップクラッチの耐久性を考慮した値に設定されることを特徴とする請求項2または3の車両用動力伝達装置の制御装置。
- 前記容量係数制御手段は、前記ステータ翼車に動力伝達可能に連結されている電動機によって、前記ステータ翼車の回転を制御して前記容量係数を制御するものであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1つの車両用動力伝達装置の制御装置。
