Abstract
【解決手段】嵌合凸部17が設けられた絶縁ハウジング15と、絶縁ハウジング15に配列配置されて相手側コネクタ装置の導電コンタクトに接触接続される導電コンタクトと、絶縁ハウジング15を部分的に覆う導電性シェル16に装着され、嵌合凸部17の相手側コネクタ装置の嵌合凹部との嵌合にあたり、絶縁ハウジング15に配列配置された導電コンタクトの配列方向における両端部分を、相手側コネクタ装置の、絶縁ハウジング15に配列配置された導電コンタクトの配列方向における両端部に夫々係合させて、絶縁ハウジング15の位置,向き及び移動方向を規制するアライメントカバー13とを備える。

Claims (6)
- 相手側コネクタ装置に設けられた第1の嵌合部との嵌合状態におかれる第2の嵌合部が設けられた絶縁ハウジングと、
上記第2の嵌合部に配列配置される接触部分を有して上記絶縁ハウジングに配され、上記第2の嵌合部が上記第1の嵌合部との嵌合状態におかれるとき、上記相手側コネクタ装置に配された複数の第1の導電コンタクトに接触接続される複数の第2の導電コンタクトと、
上記絶縁ハウジングを部分的に覆う導電性シェルと、
該導電性シェルにその外面を部分的に覆って装着され、上記第2の嵌合部の上記第1の嵌合部との嵌合にあたり、上記接触部分の配列方向における両端部分を上記相手側コネクタ装置の上記接触部分の配列方向における両端部に夫々係合させて、上記絶縁ハウジングの位置,向き及び移動方向を規制するアライメントカバーと、
を備えて構成されるコネクタ装置。 - 上記アライメントカバーが、上記両端部分の夫々に、上記絶縁ハウジングの上記接触部分の配列方向における端面部に所定の間隔をおいて対向する第1の案内部と該第1の案内部から上記第2の嵌合部側に離隔した第2の案内部とが、上記第2の嵌合部の上記第1の嵌合部との嵌合にあたって上記相手側コネクタ装置における上記両端部に夫々係合するものとして設けられることを特徴とする請求項1記載のコネクタ装置。
- 上記第1及び第2の案内部が、上記アライメントカバーにおける上記導電性シェルの外面に沿って広がる部分から上記絶縁ハウジングの上記端面部に近付く方向に屈曲して伸びるものとされることを特徴とする請求項2記載のコネクタ装置。
- 上記第1及び第2の案内部が、上記第2の嵌合部の上記第1の嵌合部との嵌合にあたり、先ず、上記第2の案内部が、上記相手側コネクタ装置の上記接触部分の配列方向における端部に設けられた第1の係合部に係合して、上記絶縁ハウジングについての案内を行い、続いて、上記第1の案内部が、上記相手側コネクタ装置の上記端部に設けられた第2の係合部に係合して、該第2の係合部を上記絶縁ハウジングにおける上記端面部とにより上記接触部分の配列方向において挟んで、上記絶縁ハウジングについての更なる案内を行うものとされ、それにより、上記第2の嵌合部の上記第1の嵌合部との嵌合が完了する状態が得られることを特徴とする請求項2記載のコネクタ装置。
- 上記アライメントカバーにおける上記両端部分の夫々が、上記第2の嵌合部の上記第1の嵌合部との嵌合が完了したとき、上記相手側コネクタ装置の上記接触部分の配列方向における端部の一部分を、上記導電性シェルの外面とで上記接触部分の配列方向に直交する方向において挟む状態をとることを特徴とする請求項1記載のコネクタ装置。
- 上記アライメントカバーにおける上記両端部分の夫々と上記導電性シェルの外面とが、上記第2の嵌合部の上記第1の嵌合部との嵌合が完了したとき、上記相手側コネクタ装置の上記端部を形成する導電性シェルの一部分を挟む状態をとることを特徴とする請求項5記載のコネクタ装置。
